i am thankful for music. i am thankful for beer. i am thankful that my dad survived his quadruple bypass and is doing better every day. i am thankful for all my friends and family. i am thankful that kevin durant is on the warriors. i am thankful for dogs and all their quirky personalities. i saw an owl up close the other night and i am thankful for all little magical moments like that. i am thankful for this community, such a big part of my life for almost 15 years.

 

at first i was like "awwwww that's magic good job tom" but then you said kevin durant and i threw up in my mouth

edit: JK TOM i'm thankful for you response that made me say awwwwww true that.

EDIT II: i'm thankful for Point Given's mad mod skillz he's the real mvp. i'm also thankful for Jabba-wocky for giving me a really concrete idea of how i don't want to end up when i'm 75 years old

 

I'm thankful for:

-The Howard Stern Show
-Dogs sticking their heads out of car window, which really is the best thing.
-A young, exciting Lakers team!
-Habibi Cafe in Westwood.
-Santa Ana winds at just the right speed, preferably in the late afternoon-to-early evening.
-2 for $10 Marlboro specials at 7-11.
-Denny's, Melody's, Stonefire, and numerous other restaurants.
-Jack Daniel's
-I Love Lucy, Cheers, and South Park
-Ice Cube & Ice T
-Chavez Ravine
-The right cigar that can last 90+ minutes.
-Richard Belzer

i'm thankful for how specific you are about literally every single thing, tunics. you're my fav.

 

My health - it's great to have a body that functions really well
My friends - they are few but they rock
Living in north Devon - the moors, the Atlantic coastline, the obscenely fertile land that provides amazing local produce
Heavy things - to pick up and put down again because this is the joy of life
Working from home - no more 'hot desking', no more commute (either playing with London traffic on a bicycle or squeezing into a human sardine can on wheels)
My car - it's only a cheap runaround but I love the freedom it gives me
Unicorn rainbow vomit - it adds a splash of colour to the boards

 

I am thankful that I don't have to work with Excel.

My family, those zany and weird people that remind me where I came from.

My friends, those wonderful and varied people who keep me going when I feel at my worst.

The internet, because of this amazing gadget I have met so many fun people and gone to many places I wouldn't have if not for it. It's given me all of you and happy memories and the anticipation of even more to come.

 

Grateful and thankful for my mom and sisters, my health, my job and my current state of mind. Oh and that I have another 3 days off to use before the end of the year
