Jacaranda trees, I hate you.

They have to stop dropping those damned flowers! I use them for shade during my breaks from work, and this part of the year is not a good time to sit under a jacaranda tree. Purple death rains down from the sky.

My thought process: "Oh crap did another one fall on me? I'll frantically claw at my head just to make sure. Why is that girl smiling at me? She must think I look ridiculous with a flower stuck in my hair. Who said 'Hi' to me? Is he making fun? ****."

i love jacaranda trees because they remind me of jacen who is my good friend.

 

You could sit under a coconut tree instead. Things would still fall out of it and hit you in the head, and people would still laugh at you, but you wouldn't be conscious to notice.

 

I love them because they are beautiful in name and appearance. This is unassailable.
