Jake Lloyd thought he could be in AOTC!!!

I remember in an interview after TPM Jake Lloyd said that they wouldn't cast the AOTC Anakin for a while so that he "may just have a chance"...can you picture Jake in the fireplace scene....

 

PAdme: "I truly deeply love you."
Anakin: "Yippeee! I built a lightsaber, wanna see it?"

 

Jake was joking. He was talking to an interviewer and he was joking about how he was too young the first time they were searching for TPM Anakin, but since they took so long, he had a chance and got the part. Jake was joking that since the casting department took so long with casting Anakin in TPM, that they might take a long time with AotC and that he might have a chance.

No I think he really thought he could be in it. He said a flashback scene or something. "yeah I'm probubly PROBUBLY blly...gonna be in it.. yakno...but I got so many things I gotta do. I'm starring in so many movies now. *sniff* I wishhh" Why was he even interviewed in the first place? Phantom Menace is over with.

 

Actually he is going to be in "Madison" starring him and Jim Caviazel of Count of Monte Cristo, Frequency, and The Thin Red Line, among other films. I believe the film comes out this October, I'm not sure.

So shut up and don't hate on Jake Lloyd.

I'm not bashing Jake Lloyed, but I would love to see him weilding two lightsabers. That would be comedy gold

 

This poor kid gets picked on way too much. Was his performance that good ? No , but he was nine years old. I have seen a lot worse from older more experince actors. (George Clooney as Batman ring a bell.) To me it would have been cool to see Jake playing one of the youngins Yoda was teaching in. I wouldn't mind a small cameo if possibe for him in E3 if possible. If Lucas can make room for ET.

 

Jake was OK for Anakin, but just was given dull lines. I can just picture him and Palpatine talking...

 

OH nevermind. I just skim through stuff.

He was as good as a 9 year old actor can get, well for that part at least. Did you see the other kids they had 3000 anakins or something. One kid looked just like Daniel Logan. Maybe it was him?

 

In 70 years when they do Star Wars remakes, Jake LLoyd will play Darth Vader

 

I think its great that inspite of all the crap that kid took, that he still wanted to be a part of other SW movies. A lot of other people woulda crawled away and blocked out the whole thing. Good for him for not letting the loser fanboys get to him.

 

Or maybe just his parental controls won't allow him onto message boards.

I'm not anti-him either. I like his preformance like someone else said its just that he was given stupid lines and how much can a 9 year old do with stupid lines? You gotta joke around sometimes.
