Full Series Jango's helmet

I just re-watched the Boba Fett trilogy of episodes from Season 2 of the Clone Wars.

Was that Jango's helmet that blew up? I always assumed that Boba repainted his father's helmet since it had the same dent.

In BLOODINES Karen Traviss states that Boba only had his father's armour as a remembrance...

I figure Jango probably had more than one helmet, of which, the bucket-bomb was only one.

Particularly with this being considered for a time:

 

Probably someone told Lucas that the dent didnt match up between Jango's and Boba's helmet so he ordered it destroyed(in universe). But the overall impression( in AOTC and not counting the later TCW changes)was that he would don that exact helmet.

It was Jangos. I assumed that Boba made a new one for himself.

 

It was defiantly Jangos and I wonder why he used it as a bomb.

Jedi Knight Fett. Attempting to kill Mace with jango's head was a fine bit of ironic/poetic justice type vengeance.

 

I just watched the Madolore episodes where Maul took over and Palpatine came to visit. When Maul took over he changed the uniforms to what Boba is wearing in the OT films. They looked very similiar replacing the blue with red.
