So where does Jawa Juice come from?

Is it a Tatooine import liqour?

Do Jawas brew it themselves to sell on the side?

Or does someone actually milk the Jawas?!?

EDIT NOTE--Changed title to get more visitors.

I mean, what if the famous 'blue milk' of the SW Universe is Jawa Juice?

Blue milk = Jawa milk? Eeeewww...

Plus the fact that Obi-Wan drinks from a solid cup, so we can't see the color of the liquid inside....

    I think it's a milkshake, not alcoholic.

Jawa's don't seem to be the alcoholic type.

In Dex's Diner. "FLO", the robot waitress, asks Obi-Wan if she can get him a cup of "Jawa Juice".

Well, Wuher supposedly did make an alcoholic beverage out of the remains of Greedo; so maybe they use dead Jawas for... [face_grossed_out]

The OS is not very helpful in explaining what sort of drink Jawa juice is... the only thing I found is this:

In the original script and most of the pre-release cuts of the film, WA-7 offers Obi-Wan Kenobi a cup of "ardees," a beverage named after Ardees Rabang Jundis, Assistant to Rick McCallum. For clarity's sake, though, the line was redone to offer "Jawa juice" in the finished print.

I thought the droid said, "Java juice." I'll have to check the subtitles.

I would have to guess that it's not made 'from' a jawa, but was originated 'by' a jawa.

Alcoholic drink or not, I don't think people would want to drink it if it were actually made from a jawa.

We drink Jose Cuervo, but he's not actually in it. Jim Beam, Jack Daniels... you mean to tell me all this time I've been drinking stuff made of human beings?

    Ahhhhhh ...

Well my guess is that it could be coffee... ?[face_plain]

In old movies coffee is sometimes called Java - like the group of islands in Indonesia. Maybe they make good coffee?

Really? .... well, there goes my coffee explanation :( I thought it was pretty good, and he does drink from a cup, who drinks juice from a porcelain cup?.

Could somebody check the subtitles? I'm too lazy...

Oh allright then, Jawa it is :D

Still, I like to imagine that it's coffee and not the.......*yuk*..... juice of a Jawa.

Jawa juice could be it's blood. Jawa blood! Maybe it's good for digestion, like some of those UHT milk or whatever they call it.

    Yuck! :(

Why can't we just have it be a kind of juice that the Jawas introduced?

That's even worse... Obi-wan the Vampire - that would make Darth Vader "the vampire slayer" :p

Well, just because it's jawa juice doesn't mean it's from jawas. Chocolate Mousse doesn't come from a moose, after all.

I think it simply was a clever pun of "Java" which means coffee.
