Jawas: on planets other than Tatooine

Do jawas inhabit other planets? I always thought they were from Tatooine. But in Dark Tide II when Anakin and Chalco are in a cantina on Garos IV there is a mention of jawas there.

 

One is more independantly minded, or gets kidnapped, goes on a ship. That's probably the obvious reason. I don't think we've ever been told they DONT though.

 

If there were Jawas on Mon Calamari(SP?) they could get a Jawas WaterFloater to go around in. HAHAHAHAHA

 

This isn't really much use but I could have sworn i've read about Jawa's on Coruscant.

Jawas are nativ on Tatooine but are also settled on many many other planets: Mrrlst, Mon Calamari, Coruscant, Garos IV... you name it

 

There's a tribe of Jawas on Raxus Prime during the Clone Wars.

 

Jawas are just a normal species which collied with another civilisation...

naturaly they go off-planet and start their comunities out there as well... like humans, wooks, quarren, ranats (certain point of view *eg*) and so on and so on... that's SW-lore

 

In TNR, Han finds it odd that there are Jawas (with a sandcrawler) in Smuggler's Run. I think it unlikely that Sandcrawlers are with these Jawas on other worlds, because they were originally Tatooine mining vehicles.

 

yeah...the situation in Smuggler's Run is odd because they have a sandcrawler which are all long gone but on Tatooine... this is the strange part of the scene... not the Jawas themself

 

Yeah, Skip 29 had it's own Jawa tribe. They got blown up by Kueller's Red Death, though.
