I recall jokingly running the idea by in a thread recently of wearing a t-shirt with -_-_-_-_-_- on it to Celebration III so my fellow JCers could recognize me. After discussing this with a fellow friend on the JC, I am proposing that everyone from the JC who plans to attend Celebration III should have a t-shirt made with their username on it. This would allow us to easily recognize one another and give everyone a chance to meet, even if only for a few moments. What do you guys think? If so, should we have a standard for the shirt/font color like -_-_-_-_-_-?

I am hoping to make a shirt for myself which reads "WINDY!" across the front.

    Mace Windy,

Personally, I prefer the name badges we had at C2 over a T-shirt.

i like the shirt idea, but are we going to wear them all four days? i think maybe nametags would be easier

I have to agree with Hama. The name badges worked well for us, plus I will be wearing my Star Wars Association of PIttsburgh t-shirt most of the time.

I could wear a shirt one day for the event and then the other 3 days wear the name tag.

We could have a little designer T-shirt competion.

Only problem with t-shirts is I'm going to be wearing my costumes most of the time. Still I'd like one just to have.

Lol, it always bites me too.

I'm bringing my Padme Picnic to wear with the rest of the "PPD club," maybe my Padme Battle gear, and whatever else I end up making. I want to do Boushh and either of the Bespin Leias.

Don't know how much time I'll end up having between now and then though because people keep commissioning me to make them costumes. I have a Padme family gown and I Dorme goodbye gown both commissioned for C3.

For C2 I made badges up similar to the ones I did for FF at last years Star Wars Weekends @ Disney.
All you have to do is use a graphics program, text in your name and FF, print, fold, laminate. Punch a hole in the top and wear it with your C3 badge. That way even if you have a costume, it won't disrupt it too much. Since people used the same template, it made it easy to identify other FF members.

Name tags are a good idea, so are the badges, since I am hopefully going in ANH Leia and Boushh but it might just be Leia

I think the t-shirt idea is good, but perhaps for only one of the days. I know many people have SW shirts or costumes that they'd like to wear, but if we set a day for everyone to wear their JC name t-shirt, then that would be cool. :)

we should make the t-shirts, not for a day, but for the party. that would be an easier way to find out who everyone is.

    easier than a badge anyway.

but I agree that a badge is a better Idea in terms of 5 days.

that would be awesome. mine would be a big zuckuss head that's saying "zuck shall rule the world with an iron fist"

the t-shirt thing sounds cool wether for one day or for one party. but for the whole time the badge would probably be better.

A JC badge with your user name would be a great idea. However, I don't know where i'd put it on my armor.

I like the idea of adding something to my badge, for when I am in costume, and a FF/JC shirt for the party. :)

Name tag-on-the-badge isn't that bad of an idea, actually.

BTW- anybody know any sites for custom t-shirts? A friend of mine directed me to one, but the problem is the site puts the design up for sale to everyone and you get royalties on each sale- thus no copyrighted imagery is allowed, so what I had in mind wouldn't work there (Fleet Junkie logo).

I don't know where i'd put it on my armor.
I know at C2 they gave out a lanyard to wear your admission badge on, so I just attached my home-made job to the same lanyard.
Here's a badge I did for this years SW weekends @ Disney.
The ones I did for C2 were done about a month before so I had some of the Ep2 poster images to work with.

I'm thinking Duct tape and a sharpie will work just fine ;)

Cool badges. I'll have to make up a Jedi Trilobite one or something

I'll make up 15 shirts that say -_-_-_-_-_- and give them out. People will think it's a fad, but in reality, I am merely making people beleive that Dashy is really a 16 year old goth girl, a 76 year old woman, a 50 year old balding man, and a 4 month old baby.
