Jedi Boots?

I've searched all over (and bought several different kinds) and think I've found the ones I'll use. Here's the question: I have an extra pair of boots now, and really, they'd be good Jedi boots, they just didn't fit me - I'm thinking of selling them on EBay, but is there a better way to get them in front of true costuming fans? I don't want much for them, but I'm a little worried about selling them via EBay...

 

There are several costume/prop boards that have "for sale" and "wanted" areas, including ASAP (p082ezboard.com/bpropreplicas.com) and the RPF (rpf.prop-planet.com) although if you're not currently registered with RPF I understand they're having trouble registering new people.

Not trying to sell them directly here, trying to find a place a little more focused than Ebay and looking for feedback as to where that would be

What is the name of the one site where you could buy synthetic boots? I believe there was a link to it on Obi-Wan's Jedi Academy, but that site recentlty went down as of what I believe is Octiber 10th and I would like to know the one site it had in the Boots section of Jedi. Thanks in advance.

 

There are a few out there, you can buy synthetic boots all the way up to movie accurate serious holy cow jedi boots - PM me and I'll send you some links...

 

I think you?ll do fine on eBay. There are plenty of people buying & selling Star Wars costume pieces there. Just make sure that you put many keywords in the title, such as, Jedi, Sith, leather, boots, costume, etc.

 

I'm wondering what kind of stores you'd go to to buy boots that would work as a Jedi boot though not specifically a Jedi Boot.

A piece of advice I have for you is to go to a surplus store and grab some type of combat boots. Of course, that depends on whether or not you are aiming for a "tan" jedi costume or a darker, I think this Padawan needs some psychiatric evalutions done, look.

I took and old pair of tanker boots and use those for my Dark Jedi (not to be confused with an official Sith) costume. It's basically combat boots without the lace up front, but with a leather strap that wraps around the lower calf portion of the boot.

I?ve found that motorcycle boots make cool Jedi boots.

I?ve found some BMW motorcycle boots on eBay that look very cool too but they a bit more expensive.

I *always* find perfect Jedi boots on eBay but they are *always* black. Then the brown boots always have high heels or something.

a cheap pair of equestrian riding boots work good for Jedi. I have found a lot of very expensive leather ones that look great, but here is a cheap one
