    Answer in one word: WORTHLESS

Actually they were basically the proof of purchase on the back of your action figures, hasbro did a nice little border around the bar code and gave the larger or more expensive toys a higher value than the smaller or individual figures. Theory was they were goign to at one time be used for something. Like the original proofs of purchase taht you could use to send away for free preview figures. This never materialized. I do recall that they started auctions where you would bid using your points but it didnt go over too well. They have pretty much scrapped the whole idea with the Sith line since they no longer have point values or even use the words Jedi Master Points on the packaging. I got a draw full of them collecting dust.

this is something that really bothers me about Hasbro. they keep giving excuses as to why they can't offer anything at all for these points, but yet for there other toy lines they have healthy points programs. check out mylittlepony.com--they've got an assortment of things from posters to ponies that you can get with the points. g.i.joe recently offered an exclusive Storm Shadow figure for their "battle points." both of those are Hasbro products, but other companies do the same thing. i know that Strawberry Shortcake points are good for some stuff like frisbees and water bottles. i just can't believe that it's impossible for Hasbro to do something with the points, even if it's just a poster. or maybe they could accept them for other Hasbro products, like g.i. joe or my little pony. that way they would be more like "hasbro points" than "jedi master points." it seems to me that Hasbro has a rather shaky public image lately anyway (especially with the cancellation of Unleashed) so it would be in their best interest to start helping out their loyal customers.

and i've said it before: why not stick Lando's head on Han's body, paint the hands the right color, and offer an exclusive "smuggler lando" as seen at the end of ESB? surely that wouldn't cost Hasbro much.

Actually a couple of years back Hasbro had an online Jedi Master Points auction. You bidded on various items using your points. If you won you printed out a coupon and sent in you Jedi Master Points and recieved your item. I was able to win an Attack of the Clones IMAX poster and a Star Wars: Clone Wars poster. It took every single Jedi Master point I had but was worth it.
