Does anyone know which characters consisted Luke's first class of Jedi at the Academy?

I do believe there were twelve in total.

There was an Anx among the original twelve, too.

 

I suggest not to get into this again, since it has been dealt with wice in the past.

 

Kyp, Mara, and the Mon Calamari were not part of the original twelve.
I'm afraid that I'm unable to add any new names to the mentioned lists. My mind's blank on the matter, as well.
I suppose we'd get the answer if we turned to the scene in Dark Apprentice when the Jedi were taking a swim in the underground springs of Yavin IV. I believe all the Jedi were mentioned in that scene.

 

I have no idea, but I would venture a guess that we all could learn more if Chissdude would lay off the Newbees and learn how to spell. He has been a jerk lately.

 

How much of these 12 students lived past the Vong wars (New Jedi Order Books)

 

Gantoris, Brakiss and Dorsk 81 are gone. I think the rest are still alive during the NJO.

 

Kam and Tionne have been seen in recent NJO novels, such as Rebel Dream, for instance. I'm not sure, but I believe Streen is still around, too.
I haven't seen Kirana Ti, though.

Maybe we could start a logical list of other Jedi that have been mentioned in the EU and see if they "fit" as one of the first three students.

Some starting possibilities:
Kelbis Nu-The Rodian Jedi who dies on Rebirth
Izal Walz-The Arcona Jedi from Star by Star and Recovery)
Dolph/Kueller-The crazy Jedi from The New Rebellion
Ken-Emperors grandson from the Glove of Darth Vader Series.
That Quarren Jedi-He's at the end of Union. Does anyone know anymore about him?

 

Cray and Nichos could also have been of the original 12.

According to the new essential guide Kiro stayed with his people and never came back to luke for jedi training.

What about in Jedi Outcast? The main villain was Desann, whom Luke said was a former student gone bad. I think that means he would have had to have been one of the earliest students.

 

Until it says in a canon source that the Anx from the EC pic was a student, I won't believe that theory.

Chissdude is nothing more than polite. He kindly pointed out that the Index & FAQ link in the upper-left hand corner is not just for decoration.

I don't want to be rude, but perhaps this discussion would be better if moved to one of the other Original 12 topics in the index/FAQ.

 

Ok I know there was a really good topic about this in the last month...I don't see it and I looked back quite a few pages and didn't see it, anyone else find the link for it...or the title as I probably just keep passing over it in the Index.
