In a MWYHL trainee deck, what are some of the best ways to stay alive long enough to flip the objective? I've been toying with the idea of a deck that trains DoS to 5 while Luke goes out dueling Vader with You'll Find I'm Full Of Surprises, so that when the 6th test hits the table, they have no choice but to eat the 2 Force loss every turn. This concept, of course, depends on keeping the game long enough for the 6th test damage to go on for a while. I was thinking of either podracing or Kessel Running with RFCs.

For the Dark Side, I've been very intrigued by the NMNPND objective. One strategy I was considering using was to throw in every lockdown card I could think of (Image Of The Dark Lord, Fanfare, His Name Is Anakin, and Imperial Domination to strangle activation, Astromech Shortage, Bad Feeling Have I, and Wrong Turn to raise deploy costs, and Secret Plans and Projective Telepathy to attach additional Force usage to game actions. Maybe even Battle Order if I could fit in some space). That way, they'll almost never have the 8 Force needed to send Watto away, not to mention having a hard time getting the Force to deploy much of an offense against me at Mos Espa or the Junkyard. Would this work, or would some of it (like ImpDom and Wrong Turn) be too many cards to accomplish too little? Also, what are some good ways to safeguard Watto? Or should I not even bother and just get like 4 copies of him to play?

Also, does anyone else think Battle Droids have the potential to be a great strategy? Forced Servitude, Silence Is Golden, Oh Switch Off, and Self-Destruct Mechanism are some great droid support cards, and with some powerful droids for once, they become something you can really base a deck around. An Entire Legion Of My Best Troops and Inconsequential Losses are another great combo for the droid army (recycling 8 destinies, anyone?). They could be great in a TDIGWATT deck, using the Incinerator to retrieve and EV-9D9 to boost drains even more. Or even a Senate deck that used the Bridge as the other Episode I location. Now, if only these droids were troopers...

Here is a link to my revised NMNPND deck. Since I took out the Hunt The Queen aspect, this deck has gone undefeated in two tournaments, plus several friendly games.
