Hello everyone, I wanted a place to show everyone my wallpapers so I made this thread, I wanted to share them with fellow fans. I do alot of painting, illustraiting and what not so I plan to keep posting in here with my new work. I haven't had alot of time to do hand drawn work yet but I will soon enough. Their are two things that I love in life Star Wars and art so I wanted to share my passion and hobbies with others who share the same...

I made these for everyone at the Luke Skywalker fan club and well I thought everyone here might want to take alook. I am attending art school and well these are some quick wallpapers I made very recently. Tell me what you think. Thanks everyone...ENJOY!!!

As many of the members of this forum have probably guessed I have a slight fondness for the Jedi Master. So how could I not like them?!

You did a fantastic job! What program are you using? I like them all, but my favorite is the one where he says he is full of surprises.

Luke and Mara are my favorite SW subjects to work with.

I love your work. I look forward to seeing more.

Hello JediStarKiller2, and welcome to the forum! And I'll agree with everyone that's commented so far: these are wonderful! I like the way you've filtered some of the images, graphically framed others and combined them all into one cohesive wallpaper--the quotes you've used are great, too, adding to the overall effect. Very nice work! And I think you'll find there are a large number of Luke fans here in Fan Art as well! Again--welcome!

I just finished my first Obi-Wan wallpaper tonight. I titled it "Simple Elegance" since there is no clutter, no outrageous or crazy font or type. Just our favorite Jedi and I think the expression and mood speaks louder than words. My favorite approach is the "less is more" kind and if you will notice the whole piece has a slight painterly feel to it. Simply...

Okay, so I loved all four of these, amazingly done JediStarKiller.

 

Obi-Wan's my hands down favourite! Nice choice of images, and good composition!

Oh, very much liking these last two wallpapers, JSK2! The "painterly" Obi Wan especially, but they're both wonderful. That quote, for the Ani/Obi piece, was a tear-jerker for me in the film--just the way Obi Wan cried out the words... BAAAHHH!! I like the way you've included moments from their entire relationship, too--makes the end seem even more sad... Great work on both of these!

The CW Obi Wan is wonderful--nice choice of images there, and a good composition for them, too. I like that you've shown him in three different states, too--fierce, calculating and thoughtful--it's a nice rounded view of all aspects of our esteemed Master Jedi. The "Bounty Hunter's Legacy" is wonderful--I love the image with his own reflection in the helmet's faceplate!

Your series pieces are great, too--the "stylized" look of them is unique and interesting visually. Are these all CW images...? Just curious--the "negative images" in the b/g look great!

My mouth literally dropped when I saw the Fett Legacy pic!! I'm still staring at it... I agree--the reflection in the visor of the helmet is a VERY nice touch!! wow........that just speaks so much "Bring it on!!" is a nice quote for Boba's stance right there!

I like your versions and takes on the characters!

Nice wallpapers, you seem to have a very good idea where things look best & how to make the viewer see the wallpaper in a specific way like the friends & foe piece.

My first posted Art Work!!!

I was bored last night so I decided to start sketching one of my favorite characters ever...Boba Fett. Plus I wanted to show everyone on the boards that I am an actual artist and don't just design and throw together wallpapers.
