Jencum. Possibly the most disgusting thing I've encountered in my career.

As an EMT, I continually get called to a scene for drug overdoses and such. There is a new high people are trying now which is possible the nastiest, most disgusting thing I've come across in a long time.

It's called Jencum. And the user hallucinates as if they had taken acid, lsd, etc...

Jencum originated from Africa, and what users do is deficate in a bucket and then cover it with a ballon. After a couple of days of festering, the ballon expands. The user then removes the ballon and inhales the fumes.

Yes. And they are as high as a kite. Really nothing you can do for them but monitor them and let them come off the high.

Are they high off that, or is it possible they're high off other substances they've been trying? I was also under the impression it was somewhat of a myth.

However that just says its not widespread, not wether or not it actually works

 

We treat it like any overdose, so it's possible they could have other substances, but when you smell their breath. And it's not like we are in their face. It pretty horrible. When they get to the hospital their blood is checked for substances of course but still, I think it's a null point. The fact is, is that users are actually inhaling deficated fumes from a balloon.
