Jennifer Hale: Anglo-Saxon, a Good Impersonator, or Both???

Ok, I own both Jedi Academy and KotOR 1. When I read the game manuals for fun, I discovered that Jennifer voiced the female Jaden (Which I played as) and also Bastila in KotOR 1.

Now here is the twist, Bastila has a deep English voice (I am NOT making fun of English people, Mr. SoloCommand!)and the female Jaden has more of a typical American female voice.

Now here is the question: Is she English with good impersonation skills or what?

I am just wondering.

I don't recall Bastila having much of a British accent. More of a prim and proper speaking method. If you equate that with being British, then you are a racist.

 

I agree, I never thought she had a British accent, just one that one kinda expects out of rich snobs, and we have plenty of those in America.

Prim and proper is how I'd describe her voice in KOTOR and if IIRC she is pretty hot. Or maybe that was the person who did the voice for Mission?

 

as an actor myself I can tell you it is incredibly easy with only a small bit of amateur training to go from one to the other on command. I'm sure she has much more than that.

 

I never thought Balista was English, she just talked like some high and mighty, err... person.

Mission was 14 yes. However, the voice actress was not 14 and she was quite hot. Besides, no one knows a Twi'lek's growth rate so she very well could've been construed as an adult in her people. You're assuming that 14 human years = 14 Twi'lek years.

 

Who does Missions voice again? My games are all packed up or I'd look...

It would appear that there was a page on TFN with KOTOR Voice Actors listed, but sadly, it seems to have been pruned in the great redesign.

 

Ok, then she is a good impersonator. Pretty funny that one day I went to my friend's house and his little sister was watching the Powerpuff Girls and she imitated the woice of Ms. Keane, it was annoying!!! I am shocked that she did that voice! She's good. Really good impersonator!

As for Bastila, I thought she simply had an aristocratic accent with hints of Britishness.

 

It was annoying but still she's talented. Aristocrats British sound more deep that Bastila's.

Twi'leks are Young Adults from 13-15

They've covered lots of different alien species. In the case of the Twi'Leks, I guess they mentioned that they're considered Young Adults around those ages.

So that could very well place a Twi'lek at about 18 minimum in comparison to humans, since technically 'adult' applies to 18+ and young would mean I guess 18-22 or so.

At any rate, Mission is 14 for her people and at least 18 or 19 so she it is perfectly fine to think she's sexy. At any rate, Cat Taber is hot and she's a human and not a minor.

 

I didn't think Mission was that hot but ok, I agree.
