    I didn't see a thread when I searched, so I'll start one.

Does anyone else listen to this amazing talent? I had the opportunity to see him in concert last week. He is absolutely amazing!

I own all three of his albums. It is impossible to pick a favorite, as they are all outstanding. His voice is so mature for a guy who is only 23.

He is really fun to watch live. He has a stage presence that just sucks you in for two hours and leaves you wanting more. My favorite live songs were "Let Me Fall" and "Remember When It Rained."

I'd love for someone with more musical expertise than me to weigh in on Josha and his abilities. To my untrained ear, he sounds nearly flawless.

My mother worships him as if he was the Second Coming or something. Me, at least he has more talent than those hacks on American Idiot... I mean Idol.

I saw him on Ally McBeal just yesterday and I was completely blown away by that powerhouse voice.

I haven't bought his albums yet but i probably will now. I love that song "You raise me up". It's playing on our local radio stations all the time. :D

Oh, could someone tell me which song it was that he sang in the Ally episode?

Also which albums would you recommend ratherkissawookie? All 3? ;)

I'll have to look around my CD shops and see what's available. :D

I'm not a fan of that kind of his type of music, but I have to admit he has an amazing voice.

I have his self-titled CD (the second to the newest) I honestly love it. He has such a rich, full voice.. extremely talented. His version of Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring is simply amazing. I have huge respect for him as a musician because of his choice of music that he performs. It's so refreshing to hear a vocalist sing in multiple languages (and so well!).

I'm not really a fan or anything, but I will admit that the guy has an amazing voice.

    One cool thing though...

This was posted on the message Board to his official site:
"...Josh (Groban) has recorded the theme song and title track to this summer's epic film Troy (starring Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom). "Remember," written by James Horner and Cynthia Weil, was produced by David Foster during Josh's current Nashville tour stop and will be featured on the forthcoming Warner Sunset/Reprise movie soundtrack in stores soon!"

Like I said, I'm not a big fan, but I do like his voice... I'm also a huge fan of James Horner(MAYHEM prepares for the FILM SNOBS to flame him at any moment). I'm very curious as to what the score for TROY will sound like... what with all the controversy and all. I have a feeling that Gabriel Yared may not have been telling us the entire story and that Horner may have been brought on board earlier than we have been told.

    Oh well...

    WE SHALL SEE

    TEETH OUT
    :D

"Remember" is the second greatest thing that happened to me today. (The first was a good research paper grade.)

I was able to get the link to the AOL FirstListen off of the Josh Groban forums. The song is amazing. I really could not care less about the movie, but this song is really good.

He really shows his range in this one. He gets pretty low, skies it for one falsetto part, and then comes back later and hits the falsetto notes in full voice. It's really awesome!

he's an amazing talent, with a startlingly mature voice. when i saw him for the first time on oprah, i could not believe that such a young, cute-looking dude was singing so well. "you raise me up" is lovely; "to where you are" is one of the sweetest, saddest songs to come out in a long time.

I have Closer and his self titled albums. One of the best voices I have ever heard, I never heard of him till the Salt Lake Games. I think he preformed during the open ceremonies. Just an Amazing voice. I even enjoy the foriegn language songs. One of my favorites is Oceano (on Closer).

I love Josh Groban. Granted, I've only got his first CD, but that's ok. "You Raise Me Up" is better than "Where You Are"(I think). My favorite track off the first one is "Canto Alla Vita". Just a really fun CD, and one of my favorites. So what's the Troy song like? I haven't heard it yet.

He's got a few good songs. But yeah, like everyone has said, the guy has pipes that are out of this world. I wish he'd do more classically influenced music, I just can't get into the over-produced adult contemporary stuff. He needs natural instruments and just let his voice do all the work.

My friends are obsessed with him. I think they have all his CD's. I've listened to him and his voice is tremendous. His songs and voice are really really good and inspiring.
