Looks to be a sequel to Operation Genesis. Coming to PS4, PC and Xbox One in 2018. http://jurassicoutpost.com/park-bui...lution-announced-pc-xbox-one-ps4-summer-2018/
*Before finding out it's being developed by the Planet Coaster team* Meh, looks to be a cheap cash in on the brand... *After finding out it's being developed by the Planet Coaster team*
Looks cool! I'm not normally a huge fan of tycoon games, but I foresee much fun to be had trying to orchestrate high-casualty dino escapes.
Jeff Goldblum has signed on to be the player's guide throughout the game - https://www.polygon.com/2018/3/13/17113888/jeff-goldblum-jurassic-world-evolution-confirmed
It’s looking amazing, I loved operation Genesis game from back in the day. Duelux edition preordered!!
BD Wong and Bryce Dallas Howard are also confirmed to be in the game. Pre-ordered it yesterday on PS4.
Looks like were getting 42 species of dinosaurs (including the ones from the deluxe edition). Pretty impressive compared to JPOG's dino roster.
There are so many good games coming out that I almost don't know which ones to buy and which ones to put off until I have more time and money. I'm conflicted if I should get this one now or later. The struggle is real.
I know what you mean. I juggling about 5 games at the moment, with others set to come out soon, including this. I’m getting it, 100%. Also Red Dead Redemption 2, Spider-Man, Hitman 2, Smash Bros and Pokemon. So much to look forward to.
Reviews are starting to come in. 13 reviews on Metacritic are glowing, PC Gamer is 7/10, and then there's IGN at 4.8/10.
My pre-order copy unlocked on my PS4 yesterday and I'm having a ball so far. Made it to Isla Tacano which is the more challenging of all the islands I played by far. You start off in debt so you have to figure out what buildings can produce the revenue you need to manage your park and delete the ones that are taking out too many taxes.
Picked up the Deluxe Edition last night - spent the entire morning on the first park, so much fun. Isla Muerta next, I believe, with the weather events.
I haven't trusted IGN since their appalling review for Alien: Isolation four years ago (the reviewer only disliked it, because quite frankly, he sucked at the game). That still remains my favorite game of this console generation. As for JW: Evolution, I think it's hell of enjoyable. I hope the game is given constant updates and DLC that adds more depth to the game.
My Deluxe Edition unlocked yesterday, and I've just started Isla Pena witch is the smallest and its always night time, its just so difficult has anyone gotten past this island
I like how each dinosaur has different needs. JPOG all you did was make sure they had food, water, and vaccines, here certain species need their enclosures to be a certain size, some dinosaurs need other members of their kind to socialize with otherwise they break out while some prefer to be solitary. Indominus Rex is one of the more unpredictable dinos, even if it's comfort levels are in check, it'll try to break out regardless. It can be annoying from time-to-time but it adds a nice flavor to the game.
Received my copy yesterday afternoon for PS4, I was up until nearly midnight playing it. Very addictive and a lot of fun
The only thing I feel that's missing is an actual sandbox mode. I'm not talking about the one on Isla Nublar, I was thinking about something similar to JPOG's sandbox where all you do is make an island, start off with a few resources and research things as you go along.
