I bring this up because a friend of mine just commented that my computer is loaded with the stuff.

I've got one of those SW ScreenThemes collage desktops, a sweet SW screensaver from (shameless plug) www.uselesscreations.com and SW sounds for just about every action my computer has a sound for.

Well, once you find some cool SW sounds on the net (I recommend www.soundamerica.com) you download em someplace where you can find em ;)

Then open up Sounds under control panels, and you can easily assign sounds there.

Note: This is for Windows operating systems. When it comes to Macs, I haven't the faintest idea.

I have screensavers and wallpapers only on my system.

My sister used to have a program on her ancient Mac that allowed sounds. My favorite being that when the computer was set to turn off, 3PO would whine "Please don't deactivate me!" [face_laugh]

Only my screen saver which says "Why do I sense we've picked up another pathetic life from?" as it scrolls by. I had a SW wallpaper, but I swtiched it for Elijah :p

I have SW wallpaper and themed Startup/Shutdown sounds. I also have a SW themed screensaver that I use sometimes.

I sometimes put other custom sounds on my computer, but I grow tired of them pretty quickly so they don't stay for long.

Well I've just come back from holiday, so I've loaded it up with holiday screensaver and such, but usually it has a SW background, SW icons and a SW screensaver...oh and when you turn it off it says,

"Copy Gold Leader. I'm already on my way out!"

I've gone through several different sounds, mostly for the turning on and off. For a while (when I was really mad at my computer for locking up all the time) Obi-Wan said "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and vilany" when it turned on, but now it's Luke saying "Greetings, exhalted one!" :D

Well, about 25 desktop themes (full wallpapers, sounds and cursors), about 5 screensavers (though my favourite at the moment is the Matrix code), about 40 fanfilms movies (including the trailers), a little over 400 sounds tracks (none associated with desktop themes) and a little over 1000 pictures.

See, I've got a lot of storage space. :p

Hmm. At one point I had an Obi/Ani wallpaper. But the sibs changed it and it got erased somehow. [face_plain]

Otherwise, the only way you could tell that I am a Star Wars fan is going into my folders and sorting through my myriad files.

None of the above. The closest I come is my wallpaper which is a picture from the Astronomy Picture of the Day Archive. There's some fantastic things there - and they're all real life!

Usually my desktop; don't waste my memory on stupid sounds and WinXP themes. Other than that, my gigs of SW movies, pictures, other files, and games.

Well my Wallpaper is the Yoda Reloaded one.
I have a few songs that I downloaded like the Weird Al Yankovich ones.
I have a few of my sounds eg the Jawa cry for my error sound.
I think I have some screensavers on my computer somewehere but I'm using the matrix code at the moment.

I cycle through wallpapers, so I don't have an SW one right at the moment, and my screensave is a countdown to The Matrix Revolutions, so right now my only bit of Star Wars themery (so what if it isn't a real word? :p) are my startup and shutdown sounds.

Startup - Death Star Guy: "The final checkout is completed, all systems are operational."

Shutdown - 3PO: "Sir, if you'll not be needing me, I'll close down for a while."
