    *Sigh*

I forgot how much I love Jennifer Love Hewitt.... :)

What in life is greater than a teen film I ask you?

I love American teen flicks (well except for the complete gross out ones). They just appeal to me immensely. Maybe its just the desire to go out with a Rachael Leigh Cook or be best buds with a Jennifer Love Hewitt. Maybe its that the fictionalised creation of American teenagerdom appeals to me as someone who had a dull, monochrome teenage life now, sadly behind me. Maybe its just that I was never close to any female friends, and only very rarely to my guy friends. Maybe its about a nostalgic retreat into a fading past. Maybe its proms and alchol. Maybe its cheerleaders and goths. Maybe its all of that...

I had a lonely youth. Its not what I may have wished for but I *do* find an odd comfort in the escapism of a good teen film. It maybe raining in Dublin but in Anytown, USA the gal and the girl will end up together, and live a long and memorable life in fanfiction. :)

It just that, in my case, my high school and teenage life was much more exiting than any of these movies.

I don't mean to insult you, though.

Where would Freddie Prinze Jr. be without them?

    Wait, scratch that.

    That's ok. :)

Its just that my teenage life was a good deal less exciting, and...much lonlier than most of those movies. Good for you though.

That old Jennifer Love Hewitt flick? Maybe I'm showing my age here, but how could any film that she's been in be considered old?

Wait a minute?!?!? Gal and girl?!?! Sign me up for that movie baby!! Heck, I didn't know that was one of those movies!!

Or did you mean guy and girl? Aw dang...
    *snicker* *wink wink nudge nudge*

Personally, JLH is a major cutie, eye candy if you will. I'm just glad she gave up on the singing. Of course, as of late she seems to have given up on everything else too. Anyone heard from her lately?

Yes I did mean guy, not girl sorry!

Trojan War was made in 1997, so its 5 years old. Certainly old by the standard of Loves flicks - She is only 22.

I'm sorry to say it, but while I wouldn't really consider 1992 old exactly it certainly isn't recent at least for me (I'm 20).

The last I heard of Jennifer she did the Nickelodean Kids Choice Awards last month (which I didn't see). Her last major film was 2001's Heartbreakers which did ok at the box office...I don't think she has finished quite yet!
