Full Series Kanan and Hera are they meant to be?

Kanan and Hera are clearly have some sort of relationship but what kind? Does Kanan love Hera without her knowing? When she calls him "love" is she joking or being serious? When are they gonna finally kiss? Will it end happily ever after for them?...............

 

I think they love each other but are pushing their feelings aside until the Empire gets disolved.

 

Something tells me anything pre-OT trilogy is destined for an unhappy ending. They may be building up/continuing their relationship if only to lead to a tragic ending one way or the other. Their chemistry kind of reminds me of Leia and Han's. They're a very likable couple, if you were to ask me.

 

I tend to think that Hera knows Kanan likes her that why she calls him "love" but she's unaware that he actually loves her. It's kind of hinted that's the case in the latest issue of Kanan

But yeah, I agree. Maybe we'll get to see them kiss in Rebels or something.

I'm always reminded of the expression on Hera's face as soon as she hears Kanan on the intercom for the first time after the rescue in "Fire Across the Galaxy". It was cute. I like her.

 

I remember Filoni saying we'll learn more about the ghost crew and their origins in the new season, he didn't say anything about learning about Kanan and Hera but then again who knows, surely there's bound to be an episode eventually that has Kanan and Hera alone for a significant amount of time.........

 

I expect adorable bickering if they get an episode to themselves.

 

Well they established the initial meeting in "An New Dawn"; but I can imagine there's far more to their story that can be talked about.

 

I think they are...but because Disney they are not doing more than giving meaningful looks. But they have been doing that since The Machine in The Ghost.

 

Well hugging and kissing is still game to be shown on Disney. And if they wanted to suggest something more, they could simply disappear into a room with the door closed.

I think it's an Across The Stars relationship.....meaning it'll have a tragic ending.

Kanan. But Hera can still continue on in the Rebellion.

 

We try. I mean the impending doom of the Empire seems to disagree ocassionally.

 

It seems that apart from Han and Leia all star wars couples (made up of main characters) end with tragedy

I'd hate it though if by the end of rebels Kanan and Hera aren't together but Ezra and Sabine are (talked about forced)

 

I would be fine with Sabine and Ezra as long as it evolves into it over many seasons. Not just BOOM....they're an item.

 

The problem with Ezra and Sabine for me is that it's so obvious especially during the early episodes where Ezra can't even walk past Sabine without trying to chat her up. Whereas Kanan and Hera's relationship is more subtle in fact if you haven't read A New Dawn you might be forgiven for thinking that they're just really close friends because there's nothing in rebels that shouts "THESE TWO ARE IN LOVE!!!!", we're given a few hugs and meaningful looks that hint at something but that's about it.

 

Well she does refer to Kanan as "Love" at least once.

 

To me it always sounds like she's saying it in a jokey way
