    I used to pronounce it Cash-yak, but I've heard it pronounce Ca-shiek.

    I know the audio books are far from authorative (esp. considering the differences between Zahn's intention, and the pronunciation of "C'baoth"), but I had always assumed it was the pronunciation reaffirmed by DFR...

    "Ka-sheek"

    (the 'ka' rhyming with "rat", as opposed to, say, "par" or whatever).
