Kevin Eubanks is a terrible co-host

Kevin Eubanks is horrible. And annoying. And horrible. And annoying.

I dunno, I thought he was okay. But then, I rarely pay attention to the co-host.

 

Well,to that I would say all Paul Schaefer does is"Ahhhhh Ahhhh ahhh Ahhhhh" like a dying penguin.

It is annoying,but Leno and Eubanks suck.

I like Schaffer and Weinberg (Max is the best!). But not Eubanks. And I don't think Eubanks likes the idea of being a co-host. I think he's there to play music... he doesn't play along like the other two.

 

If we are talking about co-hosts, not just musical side-kicks, I am pretty partial to Alan Kalter.

 

None of them are co-hosts.

They're bandleaders who do double-duty as sidekicks, basically someone the host can talk to sometimes so he doesn't come off as a crazy guy who talks to himself.

A co-host would have as much input on the show as the host. None of those people come close to the level of co-host. Their basic rule is "don't speak unless spoken to".


I miss Andy Richter. I actually watched every episode of the horrible Quintuplets just because he was on it.

 

Yep, I don't understand why they try and talk to the band members, I mean, they're BAND MEMBERS, not comedians. Although I think a monkey beating on Jay Leno's head with a drumstick would be more entertaining than some of his jokes. But hey, they don't pay me the big bucks *shrug*

Actually, I believe it's 2009...four more years of unfunny crap spewing out of Burbank.

Hopefully Letterman will stand by his pledge to retire the day after Leno does just so I can have something good to watch before Conan.

 

Leno is awful. Why is he more popular than Letterman, again?

 

Because he doesn't have a gap in his teeth, and of course physical appearance is more important that who you are *rollseyes*

 

Is there anything better then the blank stares Conan and Max give each other?

I'm actually going to see Jay Leno TONIGHT. Personally I think he's hilarious. I don't know why it's become so trendy to hate him. He clobbers Letterman in the ratings so obviously he's doing something right.

 

I like Leno, but Eubanks is kinda annyoing. I like Smitty better.

I can't stand Paul Schaefer, though. He annoys me for some reason.

Weinberg and Conan are great together.

EDIT: Howie Mandell should take Kevin's place.

 

Best Sidekick Ever = Andy Richter.

 

Andy was fearless when he was with Conan. The skit when Conan tricks Andy into getting naked and then throws him into Matt Lauer's office was classic or when Andy went to Woodstock 2.

 

The staring contests always got me. I *loved* them! I miss Andy.

 

Everyone sucks compared to Ed McMahon.
