Knights of the Old Republic Soundtrack?

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the soundtracks for KOTOR I, and preferably II as well. I did some searching but my efforts have been in vain so far.

Dude I dont think there is a KOTOR soundtrack but i think there a starwars republic commando soundtrack i think.

I want music from KotOR2, especially the theme played at the Jedi Temple Ruins.

 

Isn't there a way to use the music files that come with the game?

 

That would be nice.

 

You will have to get the "miles audio tool" to play the music which is in the streammusic folder.
I tried converting them to MP3 but it did not work

 

I only have the games for Xbox. How could I get the music?

No, you can't have them. That would be music sharing.

 

Wasn't there a site that had the KOTOR soundtrack as well as LucasArts soundtracks? Heard it got shut down.

The site wasn't shut down, it just had to take down every Star Wars and Indiana Jones soundtrack.

The reason given from the LucasArts PR-department:
..."We have a relationship with a company who has the rights to publish our soundtracks. It is, from what I understand, though I am no lawyer, the responsibility of LucasArts to protect this company's interests. I believe they contacted our legal department to see if we were aware of your site.

For most of the music created specifically for LucasArts, you are probably right, we own those rights. But if we've signed a deal with someone to be the distributor for that music, we have to protect that relationship."


Other soundtracks are still available.
It would be nice to know which company has the rights to publish the soundtracks. Not that I don't own them already, but it could make things easier for the future.

 

I think KotOR had the superior soundtrack to KotOR II. I especially liked the themes to the Jedi Enclave on Tatooine and Manaan.

That's where I got my KOTOR soundtrack from. Of course, like someone else said, the site wasn't shut down, but all the Star Wars game MP3s were taken down.
