This is starting up soon. Is anybody interested in going? Rogue_Granger recommended going on a Thursday for it as it's less busy.

I can get discounted tickets for this from $27 to $37 instead of the full $49. Theres a fee for postage & processing but it varies, the more tickets we get the cheaper that fee will be.

Thursdays in October are on the 5th,12th,19th & 26th.

    What do you folks think?

    Scary!

EDIT: Dang it, I can only get cheap tickets for 6,7,13,14,20,22,27 & 29th Ocotber.

It's not my thing at all, but the padawan has always wanted to go, so I'm in. He loves to be scared, so hopefully he can hang out with those of you that aren't such wimps while mom just shops in the safe areas.

Any other takers? These discount tickets usually sell very quickly.

California Advenuture is putting on a competing event, which is cheaper and you can wear a costume as long as your face isn't covered.

Universal Studios is also putting on a Halloween event. As an annual pass holder we can get tickets for only $25. They are doing a walking tour to the Universal lot as part of it!

HSF, I went to the website. Seriously, I don't know if I can handle this event! It's not worth it for me to put out that kind of money and then have to back out. I think I'm going to say no to this one for me. I'm just too dang high-strung and wimpy! :_|

As we're doing the movie thing instead of Knott's if anybody wants to go on their own to this or knows someone who is let me know. I've got discount coupons on my desk at work so if anybody wants one let me know.

We decided to do the Nightmare movie for Halloween instead. My padawan is a bit disappointed. He loves being scared and wanted to do the Universal thing. There is just no way wimpy ol' me could handle it.

Okay. I wasn't sure. Was out of the loop for a while there... Is anyone still planning on going to Universal even though it's not a group event?

What's the cost? Does anybody know?

Here's a "review" of the Grudge maze they have at Knott's from SR over in the LAFF: There was a special Grudge maze that you entered and the entrance looked exactly like the house from the movie. The scariest part was the room covered in hair and there was hair hanging down from the ceiling and then to top it all off there was costumed characters dress in full hairy costumes that would stand in the corners then walk up to you in the dark and stand in your way. You would run into them because you couldn't see them! They were so super creepy.

I've done the Knotts thing several times. It is spooky and I do get scared, but I never show it. So the people chase the ones that scream, leaving me safe. :) It is fun though. The Universal one actually says on their website "No Wimps". I am a wimp. I do not like horror movies. I would rather laugh than cry...in terror. I am a passholder so I can get tickets for $25.00. Looks too spooky for me. It's new so I don't know exactly what it is...if I was tricked into going I would go. heh heh

If anybody wants to go to this one, I might see about sending my padawan with the group.

If anybody wants to go to Knotts I have discount coupons making the entry from $27 up to $44 depending on which day you go. If anybody wants them then let me know.

I'm going to have to miss the Universal one as I've not go the time to go to it during October. Tickets info can be found on the site (there's a link above somewhere) if your a season pass holder you can get them for $25 (Note that this is seperate from the park ticket and it is an evening event)

I might go to universal studios on the Nov 9th (Fri) as I'm off and I think the better half wants to use that day to study so I may go to get outta the way for the day, will know by the end of the month. This is another place I can usually get discounted tickets for too.
