KotOR Bastila Romance Quest - dialogues on Taris

I've found her, rescued her and gone through the early dialogues. The last thing I ever got, however, was the dialogue in which she asks what we were doing, I reply that I rescued the damsel in distress and she says she won't deny she's impressed.

No matter what, I don't get the dialogues where she asks about my past or worries about my lack of training in the use of Force. Levelling her up doesn't help, neither does returning to the Hideout and back. Nothing.

Last time I played, I had the same problem. I restarted on Dantooine when I figured out no dialogue was coming from Bastila - neither on Ebon Hawk nor anyhow else.

Anything wrong? Does something need to be done to trigger those dialogues? Do they only happen on Taris or can they be accessed on Dantooine too? Are they necessary for the romance to start? I know you get some love lines on Star Forge anyway, but I want to get the whole romance dialogue with the kiss and all.

Is your character in the Dark Side? I don't believe the Romance-quest functions when you play that way.
