KOTOR Cheat Problems

Hi all.

I am trying to work cheats for Knights Of The Old Republic 1 on my PC.
When I bring down the cheat menu on the game and type in a cheat
For example: giveitem[g_a_msrrobe07]
It says "Function Not Found" Does anyoen know why?

I'm only cheating because I've completed the game 7 times and it gets boring after a while.

 

The very first result for a google search for "kotor cheats" says this:

Do that and you'll be able to use cheats. The game directory is usually in "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR".
