KOTOR-Question, Please help!

I am on the Star Forge and defeated Bastilla. I need to get to the Ebon Hawk in order to get computer spikes, to defeat the Star Forge Droids that Malak sent. Unfortunately I saved all the games and the auto save as well. My problem is that all the doors back to the Ebon Hawk are locked and I do not have enough spikes to disable the droid making machines. Does anyone know how to fix this. Maybe to start the Star Forge all over, a trick to get computer spikes without going back the the ebon hawk? I need 8 spikes.......if anyone can help I would appreciate it.

Have you checked those storage bins next to each of the droid generators in that penultimate chamber before Malak? As each one kicks on, you should be able to reach right in and two-fist enough of each type of spike to shut them all down.

You're perfectly fine. You'll notice that every time you destroy a Star Forge droid, another one appears, correct? Well ALSO, a computer spike appears in one of the 6 containers. Defeat a droid, collect a computer spike. Repeat until you shut off all the terminals and you're fine. You don't need to go back to the Ebon Hawk.
