Okay, someone check my calculations out here, please. I gotta sort this out once and for all. Have I done this right? There is a conversation early in the game that says the Kun Konflict was 40yrs ago, and Bastila says her Battle Med only manifested when the Mandos attacked, nearly 5yrs ago.

The Great Sith War: 40yrs ago
    -Mandos attack Rep 3yrs ago
    -Mandolorian War ends 4yrs ago
(Revan and Malak disappear with their Rep fleet)
    -Revan attacks Rep 2.5yrs ago
-Revan captured half a year ago
KOTOR game: The Jedi Civil War

It's how long the Mandolorian-Republic war lasted that I'm not sure of. 3yrs? None of the Ordo conversations are providing that tidbit, far as I know.

    Let's use the official numbers.

    1st Sith War begins - 3996 BBY
Mandalorian Wars begin - 3963 BBY
Mandalorian Wars end - 3960 BBY
    2nd Sith War begins - 3959-3958 BBY
Revan is "killed" - 3957 BBY
Events of KOTOR - 3956 BBY

That can't be right. The loading scene messages say the war began 2.5yrs ago. Your note says it lasted a year.

Another message says more than 2yrs into the war, Bastila captures Revan. That would make the war over two and half years and counting.

Timeline Gold isn't an official source, though and, like any fan timeline, can have some points open to interpretation. Not saying that is the case here, but it's possible.

Here's the timeline of the Mandalorian Wars and the Second Sith War/Jedi Civil War, about up to the point where the first game begins, which is also reflected by "Timetales":

    3,963 BSW4:

    • (Approximate) The Mandalorian Wars erupt when the Mandalorian forces begin slowly conquering worlds just outside the boundries of the Republic. The Republic does not put the pieces of what's going on together until it's too late, at which time the Mandalorians pour into Republic space. They enter via three different invasion corridors in adjacent sectors, utterly smashing anyone who either puts up a fight, as well as those who don't. In their eyes, there's simply no difference whatsoever.

The Mandalorians feel that the Republic utilizes "shameful" defensive tactics, such as placing major military bases within and nearby civilian population centers. They felt that the Mandalorians would not use appropriate force against their bases in major cities...which is proven fatally wrong when the complete annihilation of cities by nuclear weapons and the like begins.

However, some Mandalorians, including Canderous Ordo, feel that there is no honor in "turning continents into glass," but the doctrine of "necessary force" is adhered to, for the nonce.

    • The Mandalorians considered Kashyyyk as a potential target for invasion during the initial days of their galactic conquest, but did not not follow through with such plans. In order to fight effectively with their Basilisk war droids, it would be necessary to use heavier weaponry to completely eradicate the forests, and to prevent guerrilla warfare by the native Wookiee population. To the Mandalorians, however, such a strategy was often a worthwhile tradeoff for the ease of conquering a given world with little resistance.

    • During the early days of the war, the fighting spreads closer to the Outer Rim worlds, including the planet Cathar. The Cathari reputation as fierce warriors appealed to the Mandalorian sense of "honor," and so they test themselves against this world. Their military forces converge from space, first bombarding the surface, destroying all interstellar communications arrays and orbital spacedock facilities, and then descending to the surface, slaughtering most of the planetary population in the process.

Because they had fought against Exar Kun and the Mandalorians in the First Sith War, they realize why they've truly been targeted, and that there would be no mercy for their species or world in the end. And because the Cathar are not members of the Galactic Republic, they are left to fend completely for themselves. Not even the Jedi Knights are permitted to intervene.

The final act of the Cathar race is to pack the only surviving able-bodied people left who are able to withstand spaceflight into what few ships remained, and send them off into the void as quickly as they possibly can. Juhani's family escapes aboard one of these refugee flights, and lands on Taris.

    • Juhani's parents settle on Taris with their daughter, but it is a world where the human nobility look down upon the alien minorities, and soon Juhani's father falls into an abyss of stimulant abuse and constant fighting. He is eventually killed in a cantina brawl. Her mother soon falls heavily into debt, after beginning to fade away following her husband's death. She collapses and dies in the cantina where she works, not long thereafter. Because she owed a large amount of money to the intergalactic criminal syndicate known as "The Exchange," the debt is passed along to her daughter upon her death. With no means to repay it herself, Juhani is taken by force and resold into slavery.

    • The Mandalorians considered Kashyyyk as a potential target for invasion during the early days of their galactic conquest, but did not not follow through with such plans. In order to fight effectively with their Basilisk war droids, it would be necessary t
