Lando couldn't say Han cheated to win the Falcon since he would have also been outed as a cheater

After the first time Han played Lando in Sabacc he knew right away that Lando cheated. Did anyone else know Lando did that?

Later on at the end after Han cheats and wins the Millennium Falcon, he says to Lando "Fair and square, baby. Fair and square."

It's obvious by those remarks that Lando knew what Han did taking that green sylop. So, if he accused him of cheating would anyone else realize that Lando was already doing it himself, which is why he couldn't say anything?

 

Did Han cheat?
Because I don't think so.

What he did, was take away Lando's ability to cheat. He removed the card from Lando's arm. His own cards were just his regular ones though, so he didn't cheat at all. Though Han saying to Lando that "if only" he had this card which he then produces, sure would look a bit odd to outsiders.

I don't think anyone else thought that Lando cheated, else they would have done something about it or refused to play with him. Lando himself couldn't afford to accuse Han of cheating, because Han could have easily deflected to the mechanism on Lando's arm.

 

Yeah, Han didn't cheat. So...end of thread?
