That is an awesome cover. Beautiful work, plus as you all said a awesome homage to ESB. I cannot wait to see these issues that delve into just who Ania Solio really is!

If they kill Jao and replace him with this dude I am going to stop reading.

 

Call it a hunch, but I get a vibe that the male in question is either a lover that was killed during he war or someone that she thought was killed but is actually alive. I seem to recall Ania mentioning that everyone list something or someone during the war against Darth Krayt.

Yay, they're going into Ania's background now. Nice homage cover too, though no idea who that is. Hm, possible killer of an IK, huh? Hope Jao is still ok, though my guess is that it probably relates to whatever she was up to during the war. Really looking forward to when this arc starts next year.

 

Hmm yeah based on the wording of the solicit it seems this has to happen before She and Jao start running around.

 

Come on people, the guy has a beard and an orange jacket, he's obviously Carth Onasi.

Severely curtailed by the realisation there's only 7 more issues!

 

I remember so many here being so utterly excited and happy when hearing news of Legacy volume 2. About a year ago or so it was announced....and soon it will end.

A shame

 

I love Hardman's art

Yeah, excellent art. Too bad its hard to feel too excited with only seven issues left to go. Wonder if this'll be a long mega-arc or if it'll be another five-part arc then a short conclusion arc. Still, interesting preview- back to Ania's junkyard and trouble has already appeared.

 

Ultimately, this next arc will be about Ania and her former lover, while the final arc (and possibly the B plot of this one) will be about confronting Darth Wredd, Jao's vision of an assassination attempt on Marasiah, and hopefully some good stuff on the Triumvirate and the galaxy in general.

Sigh... such a promising story wasted, truncated to the core. Well, it will echo back to the end of Knight Errant : although the ending was acceptable, I couldn't get out of my head an epic journey, a gigantic confrontation between Kerra Holt and the Calimondra family hinted in the book. If the book didn't exist, Odion would still be the only Nemesis to bring down (and Daiman, but he is god, so...) and KE could have ended like it did. Except KE wasn't cancelled...

Coming back to Legacy 2... I have to forget about seeing Nihl, Talon, Maladi, Saarai, Hogrum Chalk, even Cade, again.I have to forget about seeing Wredd becoming a huge threat to the galaxy. And so much stuff...

I wonder how Beckho and Hardman will give us a decent ending to this story.

 

I hope I'm wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me if the story ends up being rushed, and the ending not (very) satisfactory. And if that is the case, I won't and can't blame DH or Beckho&Hardman. It wouldn't be their fault really.

 

My first thought was that it was Azlyn as well. She could have picked up a few tricks since the war. Regardless of who it ends up being, it looks like she's going to be the Fett figure for this arc, considering that the big cover text is "History Repeats."

 

So ready for this arc. Just read issue 10. Loved it.

 

So is this last arc going to be eight issues? Or is this going to be another six-issue arc with a two-issue conclusion to the whole series?
