Looking at their website they appear to do special editions of existing books, curious what they’ve come up with here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Their last book was Dawn of the Jedi hardcover for the essential legends collection. This is probably just another hardcover for the essential legends collection maybe multiple if we’re lucky I believe they’re also usually signed by the author I could be mistaken on that though
Interesting! I wonder if this has something to do with the tenth anniversary of end-of-Legends coming up next month?
Del Rey has the contract for new material so if it had something to do with any kind of new material it would have to come through Del Rey. Probably is just news about something to do with already existing legends material. Will be interesting to find out though.
Okay you get my point. I miss that we will not get anything new from him. But I cherish everything he did write
Has Luceno ever actually indicated that he is retired? If so, I would feel like an idiot for having missed it, what with all the interviews I tracked down and read/listened to while contributing to his Wookieepedia article a few years back, and the semi-regular e-mail contact I've kept up with him since... Oh, speaking of the latter, good news on the royalties front for Brian Daley's estate:
You know what would be a great coup: getting Michael Stackpole in to write up the script or expanded material for Pat Jenkins' Rogue Squadron film!
@Jeff_Ferguson it looks like the last thing he has worked on was back in 2018 so if he has publicly stated it or not when he has gone over half a decade without working on something it begins looking like he has decided to stop working. He's also in his mid 70's so he's way into his retirement years anyways.
