Finally this figure has reached the UK and has been added to the collection, what can I say but AWESOME!!!(My wife doesn't think so though!lol!)

I recently searched eBay for slave leia and came up with nothing under $30

i hope they re-release it in a future assortment.

Lets hope the Fett/Han/Yoda wave doesnt end up like the Leia/Vader one did...

 

I saw it some time ago at Forbidden Planet in London. Not sure how much it was, though.

Did you manage to see if they had any Clone Trooper 3-packs or the Jedi 3-Pack?

 

They've got the Jedi Army pack (there were a couple still there) but no Clonetroopers (believe you me, I looked!!)Only other Clone Wars item was the Jedi Starfighter!

Unleashed stuff in Forbidden Planet in London is normally about £20-£25

 

I hope they still have them tomorrow, I'm absoltely desperate for those Jedi...

 

The leia unleashed has been around for a while in the UK, but it's very nice so you've got a good purchase there.
I'm still waiting for the Boba fett one to make an apperance over here. But I wont be buying from FP in London even if they do get it in first. As amber said they are over-priced far too much, the latest wave are £28 each

 

I never saw Leia Unleashed over here in New Mexico or Arizona. I'm sure it's not going to be making any appearances anymore, and the ebay prices are horrible for one. You UK'ers are making me jealous!

 

Don't worry it's vary rare for us to get anything in the UK

If I remember correctly, last time I was in FP Glasgow, they were selling Unleashed Anakin, Padmé, Dooku and Mace for £8.99 each.

 

I don't recall ever seeing the Leia Unleashed in stores. Come to think of it I can't remember the last time I saw any Unleashed figures beyond the first line in stores, but then again I don't collect the line, so I guess I could have accidentally missed them....

JMG- I think the London FP is a different franchise to the Glasgow one, I mean the sale price for the unleashed in London is around £15 and for them that's dirt cheap

Amber- lol, after that find it's made me more patient which is why I usually wait for things now. Although I'm willing to pay £20 for the Boba one when it comes out, but it is Boba after all

Forcebewitya- I don't think my mum would be too impressed with it either.

 

Lord-Tice, it is the same company, but I reckon each store just thinks up there own prices, even the difference in prices between Glasgow and Edinburgh FP outlets can be a bit weird sometimes.

I know what you mean, I was in London at the beginning of last week on business and I couldn't believe the difference in FP prices to here! I didn't pick up anything, to me they were just corporate scalpers!

As for UK-US differences, my main gripe is that I can't join the U.S fan club and subscribe to the Insider (because we have a UK club that SUCKS!!), consequently I can't get my hands on stuff like the Silver Boba Fett!!!*sniff* My wife is from New Jersey and has family there but I can't ask them to join a club just to get me a figure. They got be the KB toys exclusive Jedi Starfighter from AOTC though!

 

Just phoned FP Glasgow, they sold out of the Jedi 3-pack. I blame JED1 for not buying me it when he saw it

As a franchise they can charge different prices and get away with it.

Sorry I would never pay £20 for a figure, I've been waiting for months for the Obi Wan figure to go down in price because I cant justify paying £25 for a figure

 

So I guess thats about the same price or a little cheaper than us AD

 

I have found all the unleashed sets at Newforce.com. I believe he may do overseas shipping. ( He is based in Florida) I got the Leia and Vader sets quite a while ago. Actually, my wife was real cool about it. She said it looked nice. She also keeps joking that she expects I'll buy a costume like that for her to wear. I don't know if she means for a Halloween party, or she's refering to that one episode of Friends. Actually, thats the only episoode of that show I've ever seen.


Back to NewForce...They have an excellent business going on there. I got my ObiWan-Luke and Emperor case about two months ago, and I believe they still have the Yoda wave available for preorder. Check them out...Their prices are good, and everything I've gotten has been in A-one shape.
