The man in the picture is my friend who lives in my attic. He and I went to a BevMo on the way back from Tahoe and discovered Leninade. He, being the mad scientist that he is, went on to create his own Leninade later that night.

I always kinda thought he looked like him...or just...something about his expressions reminded me of Jim Carrey.

Ironically, he doesn't like Jim Carrey hardly at all.

It actually looks rather delicious. Minus the propaganda part. Propaganda is never delicious.

 

"Get Hammered and Sickled" would seem to suggest that it's alcohol, but it's next to Coca-Cola so I'm pretty sure it isn't.

 

It's non-alcoholic. I used to get it at my late night runs to BevMo when I was in college. It's not bad, though the main reason I bought it was for the bottle.

 

But would it make a good mixer?

 

I love Leninade. It's quite refreshing (and non-alcoholic).

Yes, it's not too delicious--it's got a balanced taste...nothing stands out...

It tastes suspiciously like Communism.

If I had known that it didn't taste like pure evil...I wouldn't have been so against it in the first place.

I don't have a basement--I live in California. However, I wish I did have one because they're great for movies and Leninade and Tornados.

EDIT: Cara, there's a Stalinade? I truly hope so.

 

I will stick with Mao-tain Dew.

Seriously, the man who lives in my attic figured out how to brew his own Leninade when we both arrived home from Lake Tahoe. Perhaps I can get him to pass on the recipe and then you can add the vodka yourself!
