C'mon, really! Who thinks of these things?

 

They forgot a critical line from ROTJ: "I'm sure Luke wasn't on that thing when it blew!"

 

*laughing* Who wrote this article? Some of it has noooo reference whatsoever.

However, the most obvious one has gotta be Han's "Sorry sweetheart, don't have time for anything else!" Just naughty!

 

And there are a few from the EU that were missed, since they're being taken out of context anyway...

 

They forgot to include the sex scene between Luke and Akanah in Tytrant's Test (Black Fleet Crisis Trilogy). I remember she asked him if he had ever had sex in zero gravity before or something like that.

 

How can this one be anything but an intentional reference?

Edit: Wow, they left out their own reference to Dart Flowers ejaculating poison thorns. I'm having too much fun with this.

 

Waitaminute, no Ride the Rancor reference?

 

And who could forget "Kiss my Wookiee!"?!?

Sure, the way Han meant Zsinj to take it was as an insult, but look at it another way and....

There's a ton of references this Wookieepedia article failed to mention. For instance:



1. In "Shadows of the Empire" it's blatantly implied that Xizor has had intercouse with Guri on multiple occasions in the past.

2. In KotOR, there's that whole sub-quest where you seek to reunite a wayward droid with a widow on Dantooine. By the way the widow talks about the droid, it's obvious she somehow uses the droid as a replacement for her husband in the bedroom.

3. And the next three references to KotOR II are tied together, if the Exile is male:

--Sparring with Brianna/Handmaiden while both she and the Exile are pretty much stripped down literally screams "sexual tension."

--In fact, if the Exile talks with Mira after a certain sparring session, she basically comes right out and asks if the Exile has had sex with Brianna.

--If the Exile implies he would be interested in a sexual relationship with Mira, Mira rebukes him by saying that she doesn't want to make the other females jealous, the Exile is too old for her, and that if the Exile and Mira ever had intercourse she'd end up killing him by wearing him out.

 

Well firstly....why is that page there? And secondly, is someone intentionally trying to pervert some perfectly normal quotes? A LOT of those really don't belong.

Most of the EU references seem to be legitimate ones. The rest...well, someone very bored had far too much time on their hands. Jizz-wailers always made me laugh though.

 

So they have weird quotes that could be interpreted many different ways but they don't have "The dark side of the Force is a path way to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural."

 

This makes me ashamed to be a member of Wookieepedia... Someone should delete the whole list.

Well, I guess this still keeps us at PG-13. I think.

 

Psh, it's all in good fun. Every wiki has it's fun pages. Don't tell me you've never heard a quote and even though you knew it meant something else it sounded like another thing

 

It was originally a user subpage, before someone moved it to a main page for some reason. If you think it should be moved back or gone entirely, chip in on the talk page or start a VfD; that's the thing with wikis, after all - they're based on user input.

 

What exactly is so terrible about the page?

 

Nothing, I think it's quite funny how these quotes are taken into a different context.

Nothing other than quite a few sophomoric attempts to misinterpret lines from the movies or some of the books. I mean, the "You came in that thing?" line from ANH could be considered an candidate for entry in this subject from the silly point of view.

Most of the EU stuff stays true to the topic of the entry, at least....

 

At the very least, none of the movie quotes should be there.

 

It's a Humor Page, Wikis have them. It's just in good fun.
