Lomi Plo and Welk

I know there have been a lot of topics regarding whether Raynar Thul died in Star By Star or not but I was wondering whether anyone thinks the two Dark Jedi died as well.During Dark Journey Nom Anor said one ship escaped and this was before the Ksstarr got away as well.Do you think they survived and if so will they be return in a future novel?

 

Seems to me that they survived. Doubt we will see them in another book (at least for awhile) being that the NJO ends soon - and it looks like all of the upcoming future titles will take place before NJO.

 

They're MIA, along with Raynar.

 

NJO sourcebook hints that at least one of them may have died, but that was from in-universe characters POV, and they think that it was most likely raynor but it could have been anyone in the party, or all of them, they just don't know. No source states which ones survived or died exactly, and since it was from characters POV, it's possible it was just a mixed up perception similer how everyone thought that they felt Jacen die through the force.

 

Are we forgetting a fourth being being MIA with them? One who could get a bit annoying at times.

I kind of doubt that they killed Raynar. Lomi and Welk seemed to me like the kind of Dark Jedi that aren't totally and completely evil. They probably just keep him unconcious. I think they did get away, though. They're so cool... especially Lomi

 

Raynar Thul was not who I was referring to.

 

Maybe the death they felt wasn't Raynar's death but Anakin's death. He died early! Another weird theory from me. Bantha dung.

 

Lowie doesn't seem complete without Em TeeDee. I wonder if they backed up his memory files, then they could just rebuild him. Would make for an uncomfortable situation if one day Raynar shows up with the little guy, only to see Lowie being translated by another droid with a belt-clip. Cat-Fight!!!

 

Umm, no, that doesn't work the characters that felt it where the rest of the strike team not including Raynar, lomi, and welk, the rest of the strike team got the impression of the "death of a jedi" from the direction of raynar's ship but they don't know if they escaped or not. Another section says that the ship ran afoul of a vong fleet, whatever that means.
