Simply post the name of the pop (soda or coke for those of you not from the Midwest) you are currently drinking. The person with the longest name wins. Mixing Doesn't Count!!!

Right now I'm drinking Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper.

Pop? Oh, gosh. We don't say that on the east coast.

My favorite soda name is Tango, which is a british orange soda.

I remember spending three months at a music center in Michigan when I was 12 and got so confused by all the midwesterners calling my Sprite pop.

Yay, thank you for calling it pop! I'd post a name, but I can't think of anything longer than that Diet Dr. Pepper one.

All you southern and northeastern people need to learn the proper terminology. Soda sounds wimpy and coke refers to a specific variety. Pop actually describes what makes the drink unique.

Anyways, I just had to by the twelve pack of D.C.V.DR.P when I saw it sitting on the shelf.

So ya use pop cause it sounds like it eh? Lack of imagination! You need everything spelt out in neat little three letter words? Bah! Variety man!

And I suppose those complex four letter words are so much better

    Variety man!

How is calling every single soft drink "coke" variety

    *Edit*

Diet Caffeine-Free Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper.

Yeah, but are you actually drinking it?

Well duh. All the best words are over three leters.

How is calling every single soft drink "coke" variety

I only call coke coke. Sprite gets called Sprite, Dr. Pepper = Dr. Pepper, Pepsi = monkey piss, Brisk = cat piss, Mountain Dew = goat piss.

    -P!-

    Here in Chicago, it's "pop".

I often argued this with my friend from school who was from New Jersey. He said it was "soda." Of course, it's not.
