I'm planning for a fic that will have a characther from the human homeworld, I was wondering if there was any mention of that little planet (y'all might have heard of it, lol) anyware within cannon SW lititure. Also, Which planets were the oldest human colonies ?

If there isnt any cannon info contridicting this, then Earth will remain the homeworld (til I blow it up, MUHAHA) and Correlia, Coruscant, and Alderaan will be the oldest colonys.

    Thanks in advance.

In the EU, there is no canon human homeworld. Alderaan, Coruscant, and Corellia are all colonies.

I thought so, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Is there ever any mention of which the oldest colonies are ? If not those 3 will be colonised all at once, several years b4 earth is destroyed

Corellia is the oldest colony and I believe I have heard somewhere that it might have been the Human homeworld or is a prime candidate of being the homeworld.

Then again, I've also heard that Coruscant could be the homeworld too.

But Corellia is more fun because where its located now was not its original location.

I know, I'm gona have the correlian system be natural, but centerpoint is going to be the old colony ship from Earth.
The repulsors on the planets are gona be mentioned as the old plantery defences.
Alderan's Colony ship will have been destroyed and Coryscants will have been use to build up part of the planet.
Although that part wont get mentioned til the final part of the fic, which will be during the YJK era proabley. (Or I might just make up a conflict right after the correlian trilogy)

Anyway, does that sound doable ?

Yeah it does sound pretty doable. And most people would say that Correlia or Coruscant is the human homeworld, if you have any NJO books look at the map, you'll find that there's a region marked "Colonies" look there for the colonies.

I have a few JNO books, so I'll look.
If I wind up conflicting, I'll take a page from the NO authirs and just say its still right, and make up some reason for why its not in conflict.
In this case, I'll be able to say that its cause SW is 100,000 years after earth went bang.

Star Wars though happened a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, so Earth couldn't have gone bang before then.

Since the "E.T.s" are there in the Galactic Senate, and we know they've vistited Earth in another movie :D , we might assume that the "first planet" is simply Earth. :D ;)

Or is Earth just another colony ? ;)

em.... the Coruscant thing, I can remember reading somewhere(a few places I think) that Coruscant is actually too cold for humans to live comfortably(hence those mirrory things that heat the planet up)...

If I find out where it says that its 'too cold for human standards' then I'll post it here...

    Anyways

    Regards

Thanks, I'm planing to have Earth stay the homeworld anyway, but I figured I'd look for any other cannon info on the subject, so I could make it fit as best as possible.
