It appears WotC has taken down all of the SW content from their website (links to various articles just take you to the main page now). This totally sucks, since there was so much original content that's now lost. :( Does anyone feel like trying to archive all of those articles/scenarios?

    Well that's just lame.

They may not be doing the RPG anymore. But peh. It's not like they're not still making money from sales of the only recently released sourcebooks.

Yeah, it's down. Here's what they posted about it on the WotC forums yesterday:

Damn, this sucks. I thought we had some more time, for Waru's sake! :_|

Web Archive and Google cache seem to have lots of staff left, so I'm starting archiving what I can now. Anyone know other places that hold archives of webpages? What about the WOTC forums, is there anything useful there?

It sounds like they're going to re-release some stuff later on. Aside from that, this thread at the Wizards forums might be worth keeping an eye on. One person has already given a download link for all the stuff he's saved.

Here is a link I fund on the wizards community to a good number of the files:

Well what I am specifically looking for is the in-universe articles dealing with the living force campaign, that and the dawn of defiance material. Hopefully those will be up soon.

Okay, that's something to start with. Did you use that page as a basis?

Nope, used my own archives: I have been 'collecting' and archiving (release-dates for) books and comics and online content since the late '90s. I have followed WotC's online stuff since the beginning, and printed it out since the first announcement of them acquiring the license in 1999.

I went through the effort of saving every single webpage that had any useful info on it (as .mht files, can be opened using IE and contain pictures) and saving all the PDF enhancements.
Also, artwork is included and what I could find around the web of the Living Force adventures (never posted on WOTC site themselves).

    To be downloaded here; http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NH18CK36

    Some things not included:
    - A series of Living Force adventures (not posted online on WOTC).
    - Perhaps some RPG adventures as well that were not to be found, I've noted that the "Only the Force" adventure is nowhere to be found?
    - Some old stuff that was not in the archive lists and thus not easy to find (although I found some).
    - Miniature previews that do not contain RPG stats or whatever.
    - Some book previews that are nothing more than excerpts (although some may be in there).

    But included are:
    - Errata
    - Web Enhancements
    - Miniature Stat Packs
    - Miniature Adventures
    - RPG Adventures
    - Jedi Counseling
    - etc. etc.

Enjoy, and if anyone has those Living Force adventures, be sure to post them up here!

Thanks guys--what would we do without you?

I can't download right now--are the Planet Hoppers features in there somewhere?

That include the Dark Forces articles? Be a shame to lose any of Abel's excellence.

"The Dark Forces Saga" was the series name.

The Wook entry has links at the bottom, including some backup links: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Forces_Saga

Definitely worth adding to an archive of WOTC material.

GREAT! THANK YOU! I have found most of what I need besides from some of the Living Force material. Some of the material is archived(thankfully), but some of the older articles from before 2004-2005 just take you back to the main archived living force page when you check it out in the way-back machine or Google cache.:(

EDIT: I just found out through wookiepedia I can get the individual articles! SWEET! It may take awhile to individually save everything but it is worth it.

I know a bunch of the Living Force PDFs are floating around; I have a whole folder of them that's pretty full, but I think it's missing some stuff too. I don't know if there's an archive of them available for downloading.

The Dark Forces Saga is in the archive added by my good friend Whiphid. It was the first thing I checked for after he send it to me.

Yes, it is all in there, except for the things I mentioned not being included.
Basically all pages that are/were in that "Full Archives" list on the WOTC website are included, plus some older material.

It does include the Dark Forces Saga entries and also the Planet Hoppers.
You may need to look through the subfolders a bit to find all of it, but the Dark Forces Saga are in the "Web Enhancements and RPG Stats" subfolder.
(of my archive that is, see a few posts up)

Does anyone have the article "zero zero zero" for the living force campaign somewhere? I checked wookiepedia and the link just goes to the slang for Coruscant.:(

It's in the archive I've uploaded, as is every other Living Force article that was posted on Wizards.com.
    So look no further ;)
Or you can just find them all on the backup-sites, whatever you like, just want to save you the effort.

EDIT: I just found out that 4 of the Living Force article pages have ended up in the Dawn of Defiance folder, so anyone downloading the archive should correct that, my bad.
