I just finished reading Lost Stars and I really enjoyed it. I loved the views through both sides of the argument for the Empire and for the Rebellion over the span of the years prior to the Battle of Yavin all the way to the Battle of Jakku. I think that this book would make a great stand alone film that Star Wars fans can respect, from those who enjoy action to the political thinkers out there to the romantics. What do you think?
It is by far the best NEU novel. So yes, although personally I think it would be cool if they made an anime version of the Lost Stars manga. An animation aimed more at older teenagers and adults.
I think it’d be a great movie. Animated would probably be the most realistic considering how much it intersects with the OT. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Would make a great movie cuz it's a great story but the canon headaches would make me explode. Yes, there is always the hazy artistic interpretation window you can skate by on a lot but straight up plot/character stuff would have to be changed for a movie adaptation. Hell, imagine the novelization of the movie Lost Stars based upon the novel Lost Stars.
Lost Stars: The Official Expanded Novelization of Lost Stars: A Star Wars Story based on Lost Stars Manga Adaptation Volume 1 and Lost Stars Manga Adaption Volume 2 based on Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Lost Stars, A New York Times Bestseller by Claudia Gray.
It would make an amazing show for Disney+, especially if some of the supporting characters were fleshed out and we got kind of an X-Wing novels vibe to the whole proceedings.
