Who do you think would win if Lord of the Rings characters fought Star Wars characters?

We haven't really seen what sidious is capable of. Right now he just kinda hangs around and dreams up evil schemes. "Its the jedi - Drat foiled again!"

So it goes to Gandalf by default because come on - Gandalf is the ****!

The jedi would win all the battles mentioned I think, but Sauron vs. Sidious would definately be a good fight

And Legolas would put up a good fight for sure against Anakin, but anything he shot at him Anakin could block with his Lightsaber

Gandalf would win his fight though

Gollum vs. Sebulba

 

I think the Ents would tear apart a Wampa.
Wookies would kick Uruki arses all day.

 

ARAGORN would definatly beat OBI WAN.

He's a much better swordsmen, and Obi Wan rarely uses the force in battle anyways.


Aragorn took on the whole Ura Kia army by himself in LOTOR 1: Fellowship.

 

Aragorn vs. Obi-Wan :

Obi Wan most definitly, anyone remember TPM?? He defeated a skilled Sith (Darth Maul) that used a dual edged Lightsaber, and not only that but he was a Padawan at the time too. Obi Wan certainly has the experiance........Aragorn may be a skilled swordsman, but so is Obi Wan, Aragorn wouldn't stand a chance.

Gimli vs. Mace :

Mace, he's the second baddest Jedi around! Gimli wouldn't last a minute with Mace.

Legolas vs. Anakin :

As big a fan of Legolas as I am, good aim or not, we are TALKING BAOUT DARTH VADER here! with as much power that Anakin possesses, Legolas may hold himself for a while, but in the end Anakin would take the win.

Sauron vs Yoda :

Sauron would be begging for mercy while this skilled, wise and baddest Jedi of them all ran circles aroudn him. Yoda all the way.

Sidious vs. Gandalf :

Force Lightning or not, Gandolf woudl certainly hold his own and take care of business in this round. Age may have them both by the hand, but Gandalf would now what to do in order to take him out.


As HUGE of a LOTR fan that I am, I have to face reality, majority of the SW characters would certainly beat them in a fight.

Put Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli on that narrowe walkway - instant victory, because THEY CAN'T DIE!

If the Force is a factor than the Jedi would kick the **** out of the Fellowship, with the notable exception of Gandalf.

 

now that I think of it, Aragorn would have the Valar to help him...and his sword is very special.

 

now this is the Kinda 'SW vs LOTR' threads i actually like!

 

1.) With lightsabers, Obi-Wan would own Aragorn... unless we give Aragorn the benefit of the doubt and assume he can use a massless blade as well as a physical, weighted blade. If that were the case (or both were using normal swords), I'd make this one a draw. Obi-Wan does have the force, but in a heated duel, he's never demonstrated enough "division of consciousness" to use both the Force and his swordsmanship at the same time (with the exception of Jedi prescience which is more a reflexive ability than one consciously used).

2.) Mace wins in about five seconds. An axe, regardless of what it's made out of, is (for lack of a better term) a dumb weapon. It's most effectively used by using it's weight and momentum to deliver long, sweeping, crushing blows to armor or weapons. Mace could easily parry one of Gimli's attacks and take off his head.

3.) Depends really. If we're talking over-confident, impulsive, and more bark than bite AOTC Anakin, I think I'd give the fight to Legolas. Think about it, for all his power, Anakin will still get owned by the much older, far less Force-attuned Obi-Wan. If it's Legolas v. Vader, however, this battle is even shorter than Mace v. Gimli, with Vader the winner. Legolas might be more agile and faster, but eventually Vader will just get annoyed and Force-choke his ass.

4.) Sauron v. Yoda. Without the One Ring, Yoda would make short work of Sauron.

5.) Gandalf the Grey would put up a good fight against Sidious, but Force lightning kills him in the end. Gandalf the White would come out injured against Sidious, but he'd still win.
