LSMaker Basics- Tutorials

Alright, I've seen a lot of questions about lsmaker and how to make it look good and such. Usually somebody will answer "the new render modes are great" or something along those lines. Well this video tutorial covers the basics of LSMaker, and how to make Lsmaker lightsabers using the new render modes.

Yess, yess , you are a good msn sith jeff. I already know a little bit about LSMaker, but i downloaded the video anyway just to see it and learn stuff i couldnt figure out yet. If you want, could i help make a tutorial to go along with what you have.

 

I always read about how bad lsmaker is but have never seen any examples of what it can do, after watching this I think it looks like a great program, for being free and all.

 

Itss about time someone agrees with me after all i have been saying. I love LSMaker, isnt omplex like AE(check out the video from the guy I cant remember his name but he did a video stating he hated rotoscoping)I enjoy and cant wait till version 1 comes out.

 

Even as the one who made the tuorial, I'm telling you, if you can afford After Effects, go buy it. LSmaker is good for freeware, and a lot of kids are stuck in that situation, but it's not even close to AE. So if you don't have money then yeah, you can put up with LSMaker, but otherwise, I say go AE. I own AE, and its incredibly good, especially since it can be used for SO much more than just lightsabers.

 

Yes, I own AE as well, and of course it is better, but this is just a really good program for those who don't have the budget for AE.

Yeah, ae is good if you have the money But not to argue with jeff, but LSMaker can be used for mor than lightsabers. It can be used for Engine glow, blaster fire, and many other stuff if you put your mind to it.

ls maker can do a lot more it can put anything with a blackground in the video and if u have a video of on a blackgound so if u have lightening video what a blackgorund u can put that in

and u can do a lightsaber reflection

I would like to see an actualy small clip rotoscoped sometime and then the tut maker include that in the tut release. Sometimes just seeing a picture is confusing for when I go to roto a movie.
