I wish, but I currently don't have the know how to make those edits. Not yet. I can only separate and combine clips and not edit them. And I don't think the same person made all those clips, they were made by separate individuals. If I had to pass on the green saber, I would choose purple. Blue has already been used and red would also be a repeat as Darth Vader already has it.
A few of them are pretty good, but flawed. It's probably harder when having to work around the existing blade than to just do a new one. It looks like the blue test altered the shot's color grading (you can tell because the sky looks much bluer). The outdoor part of the red one might have selectively altered the colors around the blade with some kind of manual rotoscoping? The indoor red scene and the outdoor purple scenes are ones where I'm not sure how they did it exactly. Maybe the indoor red was done by shifting the greens into red? But yeah, those two look the most natural. Not perfect though because the glows' borders seem a tad too rigid and without enough fade-out distance, if that makes sense. Still, considering that there's an existing blade to work around, those two are good attempts. I still like green the best for Luke's lightsaber color though. It's feels unique and, from a visual perspective, doesn't blend in with the Tatooine sky like blue would. It also looks good while dueling against a red lightsaber since red and green are opposites.
The red version is the most interesting one to me. Imagine that back in 1983! Fans might not have reacted as strongly as we'd be inclined to believe, since there had only been three different lightsabers on screen up till then and only two different colors. Yes, red was associated with Vader, but that's because his lightsaber was the only one of that color. Luke brandishing a similar sword may just have been seen as balancing things out a bit (two blue, two red)... and maybe as a symbolic sign that he was indeed Vader's son. Red vs red in the dark also looks really neat Well done!
Orange yes, yellow no. It just does not hold up great on a lightsaber, although golden definitely would.
I agree, Luke with that red saber looks sick. Only bothersome thing is that yellowish effect when his and Vader's saber clash.
