In tyrant's Test, at the end, Luke covered up the vagabond ship with Fallanassi illlusions. Does this mean he has mastered the secretive art, by now?

What do you think about this?

Yes. From WEG's Cracken's Thread Dossier I think it's called Immerse Another. He must have taught that power to several of the more experienced Jedi. That's how they were able to hide Yavin IV from prying eyes until Conquest.

It would be useful, if not interesting, as a tactic, if Luke or some Jedi would bother to employ this skill, huh?

Anyone know if Cracken's Threat Dossier is online anywhere?

Does anyone know of the old man Airen Cracken is still going, or if he's retired or even dead by now?

I think they said he's died... IIRC, one of the Rogues (maybe Corran or Wedge) talk to Pash and mention condolences for it...

Luke has used this power, and he's taught it to others as well. The Jedi were using it to hide the Academy of Yavin IV. The Yuuzhan Vong weren't able to find it until it was pointed out to them by someone (but I won't mention who for spoiler reasons).

Is any of that section of books Cannon? It make out that Padme is a Fallanassi and possible a Jedi from some obscure world. This we now know is complete bs. That era takes Luke on a pointless journey that results in him apparently forgetting and giving up - no conclusion are made why. So we should assume that this is all non-factual so not to be counted in the real history of the Galaxy. For example, the falanassi even go as far as saying that they knew of Luke and that his mother was a part of them - If this was true I'm sure that we would have seen evidency of this in either TPM or AOTC. Of course maybe we'll see proof of this in Episode 3

Lucas has made certain areas untouchable by the EU - mainly concerning Naboo and Padme. I also think that anything from Obi-wans possible relatives is a nogo.

    Anyone know of any others?

Did you finish the last novel? Luke's mother being a Fallanassi was complete BS. Akanah made all of it up. BFC doesn't contradict anything in the prequels.

So we should assume that this is all non-factual so not to be counted in the real history of the Galaxy.

You can assume what you want, but LFL considers it canon.
