    OK, after watching the latest episode, I think it's obvious that Steela and Saw won't ever be together, but what about her and Lux? I am finding this very interesting believe it or not. And i don't even like romance movies!


    But what i don't know is who will end with who. I personally like Lux and Asoka better, but what about you guys?

    Which do you like better?

    Shipping is so SRS.

    I could have gotten behind Luxteela if I wasn't apparently so off on assuming the characters' ages. Personally I think Lux deserves better than either Ahsoka or Steela.

    Lux deserves a droidfist in the face.

    Steela can have a better one. Maybe Rex? Rex + Steela. = SteeRex

    And Ahsoka just has Eyes for "Her Master"

    if luxsoka not work, than i think Obi Wan and Ahsoka should give it a try.

    I think Esg's answer summed that one up but just in case this issue actually needs clarification:

    1. Anakin is with Padme. Anakin's feelings for Padme were the primary motivator in his turn to the Dark Side. Seems that the Canon Catastrophes thread would implode if TCW were to **** up the entire OT by rendering the intensity (and exclusive nature) of that relationship non-canon.

    2. Pedophilia isn't cool. Luxsteela implications are bad enough.

    I'm rather partial to Sawsoka myself.

    I also don't find Luxteela weird at all. Sure, it may technically be pedophilia, but this sorta stuff happens all the time in college and high school. Now, if Steela was in her late twenties or older... then it would be a little creepy.

    Um, no, not legally, unless you are assuming that Steela is only 18 with a crush on 17-year-old Lux. That's the only way I could label it as only "technically" pedophilia or happening regularly on high school and college campuses.

    I assumed she was at least in her early to mid-20s, especially as Wook specifically labels her as an "adult," and she doesn't look to me like she's in her teens.

    But hey, there's no source material anywhere indicating her birthdate so I could be wrong.

    And if the series were to make Lux already 18 or 19, this element wouldn't be there anyway, it would just be a really bad love triangle or love square or whatever. (Throw in one of the other members and call it a love pentagon?)

    But again, what age are you assuming for Steela? Trying to understand here what is happening "all the time" in high schools.

    20-25. I think it's very weird, but I still see it. I wouldn't say it happens to 1 out of 10, but I have seen more than a few of those relationships.

    Off the top of my head I can think of two that I saw in my career and maybe one when I was in high school; in all cases the adult was fired immediately and had his name splashed all over the news. And I think most people have heard of the Mary Kay LeTourneau case although I might be showing my age here.

    My point is that TCW shouldn't be promoting this as normal. If they want to put Lux and Ahsoka into some love geometric shape with adults, make them 18-year-olds. I'm not a prude by any means but I'd say when real-world law in most civilized countries forbids a particular activity, with good reason, a show shouldn't be promoting it.

    They were fired and put in the news for dating someone in high school? Jeez, that's pretty harsh. As for the Mary Kay LeTourneau case, that's hardly similar to Lux and Steela, after all that was a relationship between a teacher in her mid thirties and a thirteen year old kid.

    Anyway, I know several kids, one of whom was my roommate freshman year, in college who have dated people from high school. Not a single one of them got in any trouble. As for Steela's age, I'd assume she is in her early twenties.
