make green jedi robe from KotOR2

Im new here to the forums, and I suppose to make my first jedirobe... from scratch... and fancy more the other colors than the standard brown from the filmed episodes.

I resently played KotOR 2 and I found a greeny robe, called "Matukai Apprentice Robe".
Am I the only one thinking of making one?

Do you think i can use the same pattern as for a "Obi-Wan jedi robe"?
Does any of you have suiting fabric to recomend?
Ive searched for over a week and it seems like ages, but Im still gonna search all stores in the district till im satisfied.
