Most folks are using Covertec clips, or something similar, these days.

I personally use Swivel Lock clips, and have used ones from Nokia from time to time.

These clips are for attatching cell phones, pagers and other devices to your belt. They consist of a locking mount that you attatch to the device itself (in this case your trusty lightsaber) and a belt clip.

You can get these at Radio Shack and some dept. stores like Walmart etc...

I attatch the mount to the lightsaber with a sturdy screw (and it really helps to have a solid lightsaber...not hollow...I use wooden cores in mine)...

This is the style of attatchment you see in the "Prequils"...in the older movies they used D-Rings on the sabers and picture hangers on the belts I believe...

    Hope that helps you out...

Hmm over on your side, the handphones and pagers are attached to the belt using something like the Covertec. Over here, I see everyone putting their handphones into either leather/vinyl or transparent plastic pouch that clip onto the belt. And my pager got a casing that clip on too.

No wonder me and friends can't locate any Covertec or such here. :(

    You're welcom, master-kevin...

Darth Eagle...yeah, you are located in Singapore, aren't you? (love your "Dark Woman" costume, BTW--she's one of my favorite characters in the EU)

There may be something similar to the clips I mentioned in your area...but if not, you could use the old style with the d-rings. Perhaps there's another method to be found. You might try your local hardware stores (sorry, I'm not familiar at all with what you have in your location) for something similar to a Covertec clip...

    Thanks, Kai! :)

But what Dark Woman Costume? ?[face_plain] The one I put up on my Costuming Page is actually the one sew by Nostradamus for someone (I wrote there at the bottom of the page) and I'm basing my "Singapore Jedi" costume off it with some modifications, especially the color. :p

That was the costume...I didn't realize it was someone elses, which I just looked at again and saw the message crediting KvanB...

So, do you have pics of your Singapore Jedi? I'd love to see them if you do...I love the design of The Dark Woman's garb...
