Hey, two rangy looking characters just left my house after a day's worth of armor-making. If they keep this up, they're going to give me some stiff competition. There are two new Mandalorian armor-maker apprentices in the SDFF. Great looking stuff, and ahead of schedule to boot. They did it all themselves with a day's worth of me cracking jokes and generally slowing their progress down considerably. Way to go, Mandalores. They can post who they are ....and be proud of it. Nice work, fellers.

Armand told me about his, then future, armor apprentices last week at the Movie Marathon.

That's cool that people want to emulate his method of armor making, since it's more like "real" armor. And it's also very cool that he's helping them. :)

Now if I can just get back out to his place and go to the scrap yard with him and have him help me fabricate those parts for my next lightsaber......

(I love my new title! :D *grins broadly*)

Mara Jade, it was my pressure....er...pleasure having those two guys over.

Yes, yes, anyone who wants to need only coordinate a day with me to come over and goof off as much as you want. I've got almost any tool needed to make SW stuff. Except my lathe's motor needs an overhaul. But anything bashed, smashed, pounded etc. is easy. ;)

It is my "SD" mandalore squad symbol. YOu like? Donny and i were talking about changeing from the "lucky 7" fett circle design, and use this symbol for all SD mandalores.

Yes, I like the symbol! :D I want one! I'll have fett armor myself soon. So far I have the helmet, armor pieces, the wookiee braid, and the ROTJ cape (for Boba Fett.) Does anyone know where I can get the undersuit for the Boba Fett outfit? I also need the boots, the belt, pouches, and gloves. Eventually I want the jetpack too.

I too would like to join the SD band of the
Mand. I'm experimenting with a fiberglass
helmet. Linda if the undersuit can be a flight suit like the one jason wore to the
movie marathon, they have them at a surplus store in north park called bargain center.
I was recently there looking for one myself,
prices range $40-$70,they have belts also.
I was going to check Shoe Pavillion for boots or shoes.

I love the symbol, but I think 2 changes should be made to it:

    1. The palm tree is much too obviously a palm tree. I think the "bend" in the trunk gives it away.
    2. The number 4. It should be changed to some random aurabesh symbol or something else. I believe that's what the "7" in the real logo actually is, not a "7" but a symbol instead.
