    web browser = the app that allows you to browse this and any other internet site. Examples, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer.

    app = Short for application, a piece of software for a computer or any other device designed for a specific purpose, such as web browsing or a video game.

    App is just shorthand for most pieces of information or entertainment software, regardless of platform. The term has been in use for quite awhile though, long before smartphones were conceived.

    If Fisk's brutality is any indication of what's to come in Season 2, it wouldn't surprise me if this show gets bumped up to an R rating.

    In Australia, MA.That's 15 and over unless accompanied by adult. I think it's our answer to PG-13. We don't restrict until R.

    Daredevil wasn't given an MPAA rating as it wasn't a film. AFAIK, Netflix content also wouldn't be under the jurisdiction of TV rating labels like TV-MA, etc either.

    Yes, when a piece of one's kidney and/or chink of spine is ejected out of one's back, the prognosis can't be good.
