i was thinking of doing a Matrix/Star Wars crossover and i was wondering how to do the bullet ripple trail. Does anyone have a clue how to do this?

Also, the Agent Smith black tar that he uses to clone himself. Anyone have a tut for AE?

The bullet waves were done in particle flow for the first film. there's lots of ways to do it, but I found THIS ONE to be really good. There's also a version 2 of it, found HERE.

both methods require 3ds max 4 or above, and the second one requires a plugin called ghost trails.

    hope this helped.

My main advice would be don't do a Matrix/Star Wars crossover. It's a really bad hybrid, imho, that just doesn't work.

    Your call.

    Heavy metal meets classical.

Luke in skintight leather! Agents with lightsabers! Hovercraft vs. Star Destroyers!! Sentinals attack the Death Star!!

Yeah, you know. I just don't see it.
Good luck anyway though. The bullet time blaster bolts might be interesting.

You know that if anyone here tried a "bullet-time" "laserbolt", or "lightspeed-laser" effect, it would consist of the beam effect just slowed down to 500% or something of the like. Im sure if anyone tries it it'll haunt my dreams forever.

Anywho, download the 3DS MAX trial and use the tutorial given. I don't know if it works, Im just assuming it does.
