I've got a collection of McQuarrie paintings that my dad bought back in 1983, and I'm just wondering if anybody happens to know how much it might be worth.

It says "RETURN OF THE JEDI PORTFOLIO by Ralph McQuarrie." The front has a painting for the Battle of Endor, with the pointy Calamari cruisers, and one seems to be exploding. There's a couple A-wings and some Star Destroyers in the distance.

The box is about 15&1/2 inches long and about 11 inches tall, and it contains 20 pictures, along with an insert sheet with a small McQuarrie bio and descriptions of all 20 pictures. It's also a first edition copy.

So does anybody know if this may be worth anything? Just curious. The cover price is $9.95. Thanks.

"A Universe of Star Wars Collectables" says 15.00 US Dollars for your portfolio. I had the one for ANH at one point. (I think I still do but I haven't seen it in awhile. Probably in a box somewhere). The book says 20.00 USD for that, and 15.00 USD if you have the ESB one. It doesn't give any higher price for being a first edition.

Thanks. For some reason, I was kind of expecting it to be worth more, but oh well.

Does that book give a price value for an original, mint-condition REBEL MISSION TO ORD MANTELL LP? I've got one of those, too.

The book doesn't list it, but this site has it on sale for 30 USD. I don't know if that is ballpark or scalper rates though as I just found it doing a Google search on the title.
