Meet in August

I'm looking at coming over to Cologne during August.

At the moment I am provisionally looking at the end of August. I am just wondering if people would like to meet up and if so if the end of August is a good time for people?

 

If hamburg.de doesn't lie (and why should it?) Nils got holidays from 3rd July till 13th August.
a) That is not 'end of August'
b) They end two days before I come back from Turkey (so don't change plans to early August, please)

Begining of August is hard for me anyway as it's too close to my cousin's wedding

The Star Wars Dinner at Cologne takes place every first Saturday in a month at the "Capitol" (formerly "Baronesse", located near the "Bahnhof Süd" (Southern Railway Station).

I know that, because I'm a Member there.

 

Unfortunatly by the looks of it I will be over in the last weekend of August, thanks though

 

ok so looking at arriving on thursday 28th August in the afternoon and leaving on the afternoon/evening of sunday 31st August. Is this date ok with most people?

Well, it might sound like an advertisement, but there is a kind of "meeting point" for the majority of the Star Wars Dinner Cologne (which consits of only 6 people nowadays - at the end of the last century it was up to 30 or so ) , a place where we occational meet.
This place is located at the outskirts of Cologne, in Weiden / Löwenich (known for a roman grave) and there in the Bahnstraße, it is the shop "Starzone".
The owner is another member of our Star Wars Dinner and has always good stuff for collectors - although his shop is quite tiny (hm, well, I think this is rather an understatement )

Since this place is quite easily accessible via Tram (Straßenbahn), I think this could be a good place to meet.

Well, that's my personal opinion, and I don't want to dictate anyone's sight-seeing.

 

ok I will have a look at flight times later tonight to get an idea of what time I will probably arrive

 

ok a flight I found at a decent hour to arrive and leave would be arriving on wednesday 27th at 6:05pm and leaving on sunday 31st August at 6:55pm...hows that for people?
